The designers are so lazy...and the old one looks better.

Eh, seems to be Nike's creative step for the new season. They also did the same for FC Porto's classic colour scheme...

Arsenal only changed there kit for special reasons, normally they would be on the same "kit cycle" as other nike clubs in the EPL

I wasn't having a go, just stating a fact.

Inter's old kits were better (last season's). I can't quite put my finger on the problem with the kits tho. They just look weird. Maybe the pirelli logo is too low?

I really hate the away kit. The blue and black behind the Pirelli makes no sense, and makes it look out of place.

I think I'll get the third kit this year, looks the best imo

You're only comparing Liverpool and ManYoo there, though. As a United fan, it would seem you're wanting to have a go at Liverpool just because you don't like them. You say they've had "by far the most changes", but in the lists you've got there I count 14 for Liverpool (not including the CL kit, but you're inaccurate in stating that we had a new home kit in 97/98, it was actually the same as our 96/97 one) and 13 for Man Utd, and that's ignoring the fact that (a) You've forgotten the new black away kit last season (different from the 03/04 third kit) and (b) you only go back to 98/99 for United, but 97/98 for Liverpool.

So based on that list - assuming it's accurate even with the mistakes I've pointed out - Liverpool and United are about even for strip changes in recent years. But that's not taking into account other clubs - there are clubs who've changed sponsor and make far more frequently, and therefore have had to change kit more often. Someone mentioned Boro - I reckon they'd be up at or near the top of the list.

Every Liverpool home kit for the past ten years or so has lasted for two seasons - which is not true of United because you've changed manufacturer and sponsor in that time - and yes, we have a new away kit every season but that's true of EVERY Prem club, pretty much. Clubs like West Brom and Villa have far less excuse, in my opinion, for changing their home shirts this season - both have the same manufacturers and sponsors as last year (and both 04/05 kits were new kits) yet they've decided to change design. That, in my view, is not on.
