It was strange to see, but in all honesty the larger pitch made chances on goal easier.

I'd have to rework a lot of variables, plus fix the problem with corners, etc.

Right well, V7 is coming along just fine. Harder than V6 and you can score much better goals! The playability has increased, so although it's difficult, you'll see some cracking shots from the CPU and yourself that go in! Sometimes unexpected, which leaves you very satisfied with the goal scored (rewarding is another word to use for this).

V7 is to be released next month. So far this is playing sharper, and more realistic/challenging than V6.

Any possibility you would release a fix for that world cup gameplay update before next month? I'm sorry, I just like that game much more than FIFA 06 right now.

Any possibility you could tell me what you have both cpu and human goaltender skill set too in the cpudiff file in the world class setting?

I do not know whether or not a fix for the WC update will be released before the new one I'm working on.

The goalkeepers are set to 60, but also tuned in the AI so it 'feels' different despite the skill. The way they behave is more realistic.

V7 improves on the keepers once again. The game is balanced very well and I look to increase the difficulty and keep the balance and playability.

Well, I just got crushed on World class for 16 minutes playing away as Arsenal V a very, very intelligent Barcelona. They hit the post a few times in the drenched rain and played some beautiful football! The skill of these players' is great and trying to win the ball off Ronaldinho is very fun!! The skill attributes for such players' as him do show through as they are able to keep hold of the ball and hold you off much better than any other player and it shows. I managed 4 shots at goal, 2 were good attempts but the rain and the shooting accuracy along with improved ball physics for V7 made this realistic attempt at goal much harder to direct! The keeper saved a shot near the end and gave me a corner, but the shot wasn't going in...so it was just another chance that went missing really. I'm sad I didn't score, it was a wicked match, and a great victory for Barca, who won with amazing attacking and a sharp defensive wall. 3-0.

Check results below; V7 is aimed at the higher level of FIFA players' with good experience.

I think you're wasting your time IMHO. I don't begrudge you continuing to tweak but I don't think there can be vast improvement. The final V6 tweaked a few minor things over the beta but I think that combined with Ockhams default.ini really changed the game to where its playable if you have a high level of skill. It remains hard to score, and while I think the CPU should attack better I don't think editing can fix that after tweaking things myself for awhile now. Some times they attack furiously for a stretch and most-times not.

news: The game will feel more spacious and players' will have more 'distance' with the ball and time to think up attacks. However, the CPU is much better at closing you down meaning tactical thinking is much more important than ever before. The game is challenging, very infact, but much more playable than V6. The goals you can score will be that of which you may not have seen before, or only seen once ages ago! The CPU will take advantage of the open space and you'll see some very clever build-up from them.

Thanks!! I'm happy you enjoy my designs. It takes a lot of time to find a good balancing for an update and V6 is a perfect example of hard work and good testing. V7 will hopefully show gamers that NK FOOTBALL © is capable of creating the most challenging and realistic gameplay design possible, while still keeping and infact inCREASING the playability!

I think that the foul contron needs modifying... A huge amount of shots goes to the post and braking my nerves!!!!

V7: Fouls are certainly improved. The CPU has fouled me much more often since using the latest V7 design. Shooting is more balanced and controlled and improved on V6. Those who enjoy V6 will enjoy V7 for it is completely based on the same design, unlike V4 was on V3 and showed a different 'feel' to the game. V7 feels like V6, but it plays better.

Long distance shots that are kept low are lethal! In fact a new video for V7 is being put together right now and one of the goals scored recorded from a replay earlier is a long distance ground shot from Del Piero, and it looks very nice!!! The keeper can't get down and stretch to reach it. You'll also see him score a wonderful freekick!

And a bonus game is in there also, which was played on Semi-Pro, 4 mins.

1) Can you fix the position of goalies when they save headers? Too many
cheap lob headers right now.

2) Is it possible to make the players move more without the ball?
It looks weird on the radar when everyone just remains on his position
