New PES2010 1.03 Patch & New Konami DLC 1.03

Hi ,
Well Konami have released a NEW PES2010 Patch 1.03 and Konami DLC 1.03....

Yes both have the same file number 1.03....but one is the Official Patch 1.03 and the other is The Konami DLC 1.03 which is downloaded in the PES2010 System settings.
If you want to play with your current PES2010 patches its ok to install the Patch 1.03 , but DO NOT install the DLC 1.03 yet as it will destroy your option files and many patch makers are in the process of releasing updates to their own PES2010 patches, so its best to wait a few days.

Official Patch 1.03 Notes

The official patch makes it even easier to use the game's comprehensive formation settings, and also adds icons to show the connectivity status of online players. All settings can now be saved and Stocked Data will be loaded automatically, speeding up play immediately. Likewise, the new connectivity icons will show the user as a Grey icon, with Green, Yellow and Red icons detailing the quality of the opponent's connection, with red being the worse.
The update also improves match making between users of the PC-DVD version of the game with different processors.

Time of Release: 21/12/2009


Users can now save all settings except "Mark Settings" when stocking their Game Plans. The Stocked Data will also be loaded automatically.
Icons showing the connectivity status of both the user and the opponent(s) have been changed as below:

<The Opponent>
Checking Connection Speed: Grey
Good: Green
Average: Yellow
Poor: Red

Please be made aware that sometimes, during installation, the process may appear to have stalled with the window status shown as "not responding" for a few minutes.

I have only downloaded the patches NOT installed yet , as I have moddified patches installed and I am waiting for the patch makers to make thier patch compatiable with the DLC..


Yes gameplay performance is improved less jutters and lag, Game is harder, faster , smoother.
Some people on Evo-web claim that the game is improved , like the refs are more strict , but in a good way , they now award much more penalties and award fouls properly instaed just for nothing. Also when people play online against each other all processors are compatiable with each other, Intel -Amd now works, but I think any gameplay improvments might be the placebo effect...

I don't like the opposition tackling in the game. They go in recklessly from the front, from behind and they "win" the ball. I can't do that on the other side of things. In real life it would be a foul.

The best way to apply the DLC update is to download and install from within the game, Run PES2010 and goto the system settings then download, it will automatically install the DLC....

Its my mistake that i did not explained....
i have the original pes 2010 installed at my desktop gaming pc which has not access to the internet.
So i download everything through my laptop.
Any help to apply the dlc ofline will be of extreme importance for me.

Ahh Ok m8...

The DLC is an image file so I think you need to put it in the Konami/PES2010/img file, if this is not possible then you can also install using AFS Explorer,

I've read several feedback about how the gameplay, responsiveness, goalkeepers and refereeing are improved so it's worth a try.. I've tried it myself but I cant judge the game properly without adjusting camera angles so I cant give a certain feedback but it seems, well, improved..

game has yes more slow and passing, goalkeepers better but still responsiveness needs tweaking, a proper update should take place with 1.03
