Starting XI
Nice one matt.

The feel good factor is coming back to SJP. Everyone is looking forward to the new season for once :)

Aye, this is most upbeat I am feeling about the club since the better Sir Bobby days. Normally optimism is not recommended as fan of NUFC, but at least even if we don't finish as high as the top 6 we don't have a manager who will be serving us shovels full of BS :D

YELLOW CARD: Untrustworthy
Nice page. What are the updates on MArtins and Owens?? are they staying or is it something that won't be known till we near the beggining of the season??

Hey, how come Emre did so well in the Premiership? I mean he's pretty short, also he isn't such a strong guy by the looks of it and definetly not the fastest one either. I know players physically better that couldn't handle England, how did he manage to?

Team Captain
Good Luck for the coming season guys. You lot deserve it more than anyone. I think at last Newcastle under Sam, will give the fans the team and the success that they deserve after such unwavering loyalty over all the lean years.

I hope it all works out well guys, I'm sure it will.(Y)

Theo, Emry is a smart guy and a skillful player. Because of that, his physical stature doesn't affect his success in the EPL . Many other players of a similar build have made it in the prem. Owen and Zola to name but two. You don't have to be of neanderthal proportions to make it in this league. Smaller players find other ways to play rather than rely on their physical size. Saying all that though, Emry is no wimp mate, he can be a rottwieler when he wants to.

Sam Alladyce is the first decent coach in charge at Newcastle since Sir Bobby Robson, IMO.

Starting XI
I heard Barton played so well the Newcastle fans started chanting his name during the victory over Hartlepool. Good for you guys to see Owen score for you for the first time in a long time.

Starting XI
I played against David Edgar on Monday. He's from my town and showed up randomly at the university field to play soccer. (H)

This may seem like a completely daft question, but why was Parker sold?

Statistically, he was the best tackler last season. He was your captain too, wasn't he?

Youth Team
Wow, impressive squad :)
I hope you will finnish on a good (CL) position :).

How is Babayaro? I haven't heard anything about him in a while :) I didn't even know he's playing at Newcastle :)
