i really dont see why he wouldnt play Clark.... N'Zogbia Clarke Faye Bowyer... its much beta than Carr at right mid... he knows how to cross... but he does that from right back ne way? Taylor doesnt as such, and i think the less bramble we see the beta... last season he fed from boumsong and gained confidence, but with the form boumsong is in, only thing he is gonna feed on is boumsong's eva increasing likeness to bramble's shambles...

So Milner doesn' have a recall status on his contract?

What about Parker, he's not injured is he? I think that Blackeye Rovers are a better team then last year so this might be the end of Souness.

once again, no point sacking souness now, it would upset the new players.... they come under one manager, and then have to deal with another new one? Ummm no.... im sure one thing owen would have wanted was a guarentee souness wouldnt b sacked ne time soon...

ne ways, no we cant recall milner, that was the only way we could get solano, if they got milner for the season, to replace solano on the right... so no... and parker is suspended... and as u kno, luque dyer and emre are injured... and now solano... surely ud think the chairman can see that the injuries arent the managers fault...

ne ways, i was optimistic about the fulham game, cept i wasnt sure about the midfield... u could have 2 of the best strikers in the world, but if they dont get the ball, they cant score can they? our midfield has to perform if we have ne chance of owen and big al putting it into the back of the net... so far this year, our midfield has been woeful...

I could turn that around and argue the best course of action is to find a new manager before these new players have fully settled in and before we find ourselves well established in the lower reaches of the league.

A new manager with fresh ideas and motivation just might be what we need.

Anyway lets see what happens on Sunday, i'm quite sure if we suffer a big defeat Souness will be without of a job by midday on Monday.

hmmmmm, not like we've really suffered ne big defeats tho... we havent exactly leaked goals and chances.... its just been the fact the only way we looked like gettin points from a game was a 0-0 draw...

i agree with ur turn around idea, it has its merits... but with the likes of solano dyer and emre all possibly returning against man city, i think that might b his last chance to save himself..

Did Newcastle hire Liverpool's trainers and physios from last season or something?

Blackeye Rovers is the last team that you want to play when you have an injury problem.

iunno, its pretty ****ed tho, we are missing 5 top midfielders... of course we're struggling... we've struggled eva since solano left... and now we're ****ed... its freakin ridiculous, its stupid how half the reasons the pressure is on souness is cos we have evry1 injured.. i mean we only started the season with shearer and chopra fit... then chopra was injured.. i mean COME ON!!!!!!!

give us some freakin luck!

I heard the training pitch has some degree of responsibility. The turf is too hard and players have been receiving injuries too easily.

For the same period on the old training pitch we hadn't received half as many injuries.

Senior Squad
Well I'd say that they should get some more physios and that's pretty much all that can be done in the short term.

doggy_j5

Youth Team
nah, cos the trainin grounds they moved from were the ones with fake grass, hence y it was too hard, it drained too well and etc, so it was heaps tough afta it was watered so they've moved back to the old fashion natural grass pitches..

Teams like Blackburn will kill the premiership.

Everyone behind the ball except Bellend, it makes you wonder if they actually wanted to win.

Having said that we were quite poor until Shearer popped up with that free kick. After which we killed the game off nicely.

N'Zogbia had a great game, 1 goal, 1 assist and 1 goal line clearence.

Terrific seeing Michael Owen score and Newcastle break their lack of goals with a good result. No one got hurt against Blackeye Rovoers so I think that the team will be very happy. As for Rover's, who would honestly have thought that such a nice and honest looking man like Mark Hughes could make such a dirty team.
