Big game on saturday. Citeh will want to bounce back after their humiliating defeat against Donny Rovers during the week while at SJP there's a new air of confidence about the place.

Team news:

Dyer, Emre and Nobby are still sidelined. Parker's back from suspension.

i think the real news is that moore is finally fit...

its been about 2 months, but finally...

also... horror debut for woodgate for real madrid, poor guy... own goal and a red card... but on the bright side, they won, and considering how bad real have started the season, its probly still a positive that woody played and was the only reason they conceded, and they still scored with 10 men... quality

the only problem is that the 2 clean sheets have been probly some of the worst clean sheets ive seen.... the marking on sibierski for his free header was more than embarrassing... dunne had 2 free headers from corners, he shoulda at least hit the target once.... micky shoulda slotted the 2nd round james, was pretty poor finish in the end... ameobi also showed his 'talent' when he missed that chance with the final kick of the ball...

BUT, with the likes of emre dyer and solano possibly returning next week at pompey, a more creative midfield could help take the pressure off our back four...

i highly doubt that he would play a 3-1-4-2, considering our defence is shaky enuf with 4 back there...

fact of the matter is, when fully fit, either dyer or solano will have to miss out, since luque emre and parker should pick themselves...

Luque's going to be out for longer obviously so Solano, Emre and Dyer will all get back in the team.

i honestly dont see how they all can play, i mean shearer and owen pick themselves, n'zogbia has been brilliant so far when hes played on the left, he was more than worthy of motm last nite, and i dont think solano or dyer would wanna play on the left? so only option would b to drop shearer, or play 3 at the back? who knows... we'll work that out once evry1 is fit, if it eva happens....

spose with big al gettin older, we could go with Solano Dyer Parker Emre
and Owen and Luque up front... perhaps Luque playing a lil deeper... since souey said shearer will have to slowly become a player who can b used for the last 15 mins, or last half an hour, or play the 2nd half... who knows?

Wow, Newcastle United did some good transferring this summer. I mean look: Owen, Luque, Solano (back?), Emre and Parker. The team looks very promising, I bet they'll be in the first five at the end of the season.

Dyer seems to be 50/50 to start, while Pompey are without Robert and Lua Lua.

I fancy us take to this one convincingly

im still not entirely sure... our defence is getting better, but im not so sure about the creativity in our midfield... if dyer starts, he'll b able to get some driving runs, but he aint really a crosser of the ball... hopefully they'll drop bowyer, great assist against citeh, but i swear he hasnt done ne thing apart from that? Charles will score or get an assist, how can he not, hes got more talent than Robert, just u wait...

only problem is, this game is live on Foxtel here (3rd newy game in a row ) and i missed the first half cos ive gotta goto my friends 18th
damn women... u cant watch soccer at their parties...

one question is, where the hell has craig moore gone? i havent seen him play for reserves... he was in squad last week, and now hes gone again?

According to www.nufc.com craig moore is fit and available for selection so i have no idea why he isn't being picked.

Defence still isn't tight enough but we look better now that Bramble is back.

**** sake, Owen's picked up an injury in training yesterday and looks like he wont feature this afternoon. As of yet it's uncomfirmed what injury he's picked up and the extent of it

owen has dead leg, dyer cud be out 4 a further month, bramble ruled out 4 sumthing, and parker doubtfull o and turkey have included emre in their 22 man sqyad 4 germany game, so he will proberly gein injured as well 4 f***'s sake when will we b 100% !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
