eh i still say its good for minny, but man giving up one of the best receivers ever in randy moss and not filling the void immediately concerns me a bit. i know they got the 7th pick, but now who's going to be the go-to receiver that you know will give you production game in and game out? you know, assuming he stays for the whole game (H)

im seriously torn, a vikings team with no randy will be hard to realize

but if i look at the team without him we can be ok if not better

no one seems to realize that the vikes(if the trade becomes official) will be 35 million under the cap. they could go after a big free agent corner like surtain, rolle or smoot, also a FA wr like mason, coles or burress(but i dont see us bringing in burress). they could also trade a RB with there 18th pick in the 1st round for a defensive starter.

and what are the thoughts on starting the NFL Offseason Thread or starting the NFL 2005- 2006 Season since once free agency start the fiscal nfl year starts

I've heard about Sapp but not Washington, I'm just waiting for something offical. If we can get rid of them, good. I heard we're going back to a 4-3 instead of 3-4 so losing Washington isn't that big of a deal, not like he did much anyway.

Well i'm new the the NFL, after watching the Superbowl i've been addicted to it, also i follow the MLB from Australia, just asking whats David Given's situation in New England ?

givens will become a restricted free agent in a week.

this means that the patriots will put a tender on him(give him a value) and other teams have to the ability to match that and try to sign him but new england gets the chance to match the offer or exceed it

i dont see him gonig anywhere this year

Really, my apologies, well the pats have already got 2 great Corners in Samuel and Gay, but Surtain will probably be a good addition. :)

hahhahaha new england pay out a huge contract for surtain, thats definitely not happening

surtain to minnesota would be delicious, it is something i predicted when he first was said to be going into free agency

i could see bennett and the 18th pick in the draft for surtain, that would be a hell of a deal imo
