OK thanks, what I mean is... some kind of youtube tutorial showing the method? Personally if I could do it I would as it seems to be a bit of a niche in the community.

Mate that is so hard I have not yet completed schooling I barely have time to make boots but I can help u when need of any tips. Ask @Nabo78 he is a very nice guy he helped me a lot to make boots

Are u using moddingway updates

Finally this texture is fully complete only reflex and bump left to do release Tmrw if I can get it tested the whole heritage pack will be released within 2 days

A small image is available paste it in boots 16 or boots like xxx and add the name to Bootslist like xxx,name of boots. Then add rx3 to shoe or shoe16 like shoe_xxx.rx3 and shoe_xxx_textures.rx3 and then assign using MW selector
