I've created a new tournament called "EuroClub Kick-Off 2004". This is where 24 teams battle it out in two seperate tables and 4 teams will advance to the knock-out stages...you will have to be good to win this!!!!

Oh it just keeps improving! :D

I've now made it harder to get hold of the ball and make the most of it, I've actually been getting like 30% possession in matches, and I've found that the CPU really takes over a lot.

Only con so far is the fouling, I can't make the CPU foul much, but this will just be a few tweaks here and there and I'm sure I can make them go flying in haha.

    haha, thanks Jomi!! :D

At the moment I'm scoring from headers from crossing the ball in, THAT'S IT! lol, so I'm going to make it harder to do that...basically I'm hoping that to get a goal, (or a chance at goal for that matter) you'll have to work your ass off!!!! :fluffy:

    Nick,
Try to put an accent on the player's attributes
I want to feel a difference between good and not so good players
( not as it is in Fifa 2004 ah ah ! )
I will probably make a big roster update for the new season ( for Fifa 2002 of course ) and would like to see this level difference between teams and players

    Cheers,

    Jomi

I'm afraid it is out of my power to change differences between one set of attributes to another. What you will notice is that shooting with a bad striker, will usually result in a poor shot, whereas the Beckham’s and Ronaldo's of FIFA 2002 will have much better chances of scoring. This is due to the shot assistance on goal, which has been decreased a lot from the original EA file. You really have to aim the shot and get the curve on it right. :)

The player fatigue is slightly different. The players' stamina will drop much faster, giving shorter sprints where passing the ball will become essential to great play, but the stamina bar will increase faster than before, so you can have more attempts at taking on defenders although the overall stamina bar will NOT recharge to its threshold every time you do a sprint. This means make the most of your players' energy if you want to good at this game, otherwise you'll end up conceiving a goal and will need to make substitutions to stand a chance at getting some good chances at goal.

The passing is slower, you can't just hit a ground pass to any player now, and the ball will probably get taken away by defenders. You have to pick your receiving player's using timing and knowledge, you can't just go hitting the ball around anywhere you please...it just doesn't work like that, it's NOT what I'm trying to achieve. :)

The CPU is harder, much more balanced and their shooting comes in a rather unpredictable fashion. You might see them miss a 5 yard easy shot, but then you might see Zidane shoot a 25 yard screamer from no where! The goalkeepers save a lot more shots too.

Behold the realism! haha, I got totally annihilated in this 8-minute match, although they started to foul in the 2nd half, cause they’re EVIL (well, I made them more aggressive lol)!! I didn't foul at all, cause I really couldn't catch up with their strikers lol, very difficult match, loved it!! :D

I've made the tackling harder since this match, so I would've probably fouled. I've also made the defenders mark better since this match. The CPU really do know how to break the defence...rather mean at times :( haha

I'm playing my custom tournament EUROClub Kick-Off 2004. IT'S DIFFICULT! (although the 4-0 killing was only a friendly) I'm playing as Manchester United. I'm somewhere near the bottom, I either loose 3-0, 4-1 or draw 0-0, 1-1. Sounds like fun yeah?

Oh and here's one thing about the match results below:

IT WAS ON AMATEUR DIFFICULTY! :D

Also, let me point out I had MORE possession, but look at where most of it was. LOL!

I couldn't get the ball out of my own half a lot of the time.
