Just played another game, playing the teams in the WC 06 semi-final Germany (me) VS Italy (cpu). Very tight match, they scored against me early on cause I messed up on some defending and it cost me.

Check out these results, pretty cool game. Enjoyed it!

Oh and by the way, long shots are harder to keep down now, you'll notice that sometimes all you need is a little bit of power and it'll still go over. There's more going on now, which will determine the accuracy of the shot. I have brought out more player attributes using ball physics.

You'll probably think I'm not trying to get a shot on goal, but that wouldn't be beneficial for V8 to make progress. The defence is so much tighter and games are too. It makes instances like what you see Ronaldinho do, so much more exciting to see.

It's a bit like an advert for V8. since recently I searched my update on google and many different language sites have translated a lot of my English into their own language so it seems to be an international update, well V6 was anyway! So I thought why not make a promo vid for V8 so everyone knows its on its way! :)

haha, the latest gameplay is the best CPU I have ever done, or so I believe! Much harder to break them down and much more balanced despite the way it looks on paper when played. It feels as though you're unsafe, that at any moment the CPU could make a chance out of nothing.

It's playing good, I need to get better if I'm going to play this on World Class.

Most of you guys are on some 'super' playing level of FIFA, even I started to find my own V7 easy to score on World Class. V8 is the hardest ever because I've gone OLD SKOOL With how I made it hahaha. Well, I'm sure peeps will find it too hard at some point.

well, see why i said its weird is that my passing is like 80% + just yesterday after i finsihed playing i was so pissed off with v7 comp because their interception is so freaking high so high its im actually scared of passing the ball ... somehow i was thinking since the comp is given such high reaction speed why cant human controlled players be given bigger manuverability, its like turning a huge ship when i was trying to trick the defender just to put away a pass and wouldnt be intercepted,

couple of things i've noticed in v7 tho
-keeper often come out to catch the ball but was out of his box so he just drops the ball and turn back to his goal.. LOL (allowing my striker just tap the ball in) :bob:

-cpu now do this (high cross in for their striker, then he volley into your top corner) nice stuff nice stuff lol

-referee produces more red card.. hmm ..NICE ^^ as long as its not on my players i play fair and square

plus my freekicks go in more often now yay :rofl: ill try v8 now

hahaha, that review cracked me up!! :rofl: Good stuff man, good stuff. Yeah I know what you mean, the keepers are a little crazy, they're sorted out now though.

I think V8 will be the better out of my updates. Just lost 2-0 on world class v arsenal playin as man-u.

yea, just watched your replay nice one, but u do realize ur playing 4-4-2 against 4-1-2-1-2 ? 4-1-2-1-2 is one the best formation i've work out best to beat the classic 4-4-2 formation aside from 4-3-1-2, ur probably having a little problem here on the formation u were using.

another thing, when u pass up to your striker dont return pass straight away. Hold the ball and slow bring it in the direction of your side and let your CAM can be lampard or gerrard to run up while ur luring ur marker out of his zone. Then through pass back up to the midfielder who is now in a striker's position. (Its called switching rolls haha) Works pretty fine for me.

nice show by the brazilians tho lol, i can see that ur struggling a bit to put a tackle in.

can u tell me what program u used to record the match ?

It wasn't a full-on tactic 'selected' match, I mainly wanted to show the CPU improvements and pace of the game. I use FRAPS to record mate.

I might do a video where I change formations, tactics and make subs, etc.
Not sure what teams to use though...

ok i tried to use fraps but the problem is it has such a short recording time where it just stops after like 25 seconds eventhough i set a low fps.

and when i start recording my game lags like crap til i cant play properly, any help ?

Strange indeed. Although the version of Fraps I'm using I received from a friend, so it might be the 'full' version of somesort that has no limit on how long you can record for. I know it requires so much processing power so it can capture at a good speed, but nothing incredible. Didn't someone else have the same problem with lagging? Well, it does lag 'so' much either way because, afterall the program takes thousand of HIGH quality pictures to get the 'motion' plus it will record your audio in the game if you enable the option. Soooo all in all it will lag your game to an extent, but it should still be playable.

yeah it was me. I fixed it by setting the antialiasing and ansiotropic filtering off, changing the resolution to 1024x768 and setting detail to medium i think. Basically lower gfx settings until it wrx :) I can record at 15fps and it runs at about 50-60.

gave up on those top leagues and went to manage a stupid 2 star noob team in the sweddish league...

-my players cant pass
-ai simply intercept 90% of the pass i make..its insanely ******* ridiculous because they make it look as if im passing the ball to them, when i want to pass to my striker they just stand there, defender just comes up and take it away (BLOODY HELL , EA HAS TO ******* FIX THIS)

-some stupid AI with 1 and a half stars can make ridiculously wonderful long ball making me feel stupid as a player,

-my players often takes more than one touch to control a ball (probably due to bad ball control) but **** i cant even make a proper throw in because the AI will just have a faster reaction and take the ball away

-plus, when i barge into a ai player tackling him off the ball but after the tackle both player somehow ended up off the ball, its ALWAYS again the AI player who recover and retrieve the ball faster and keeps running <- AS IF ?

-in some games when it comes to somehow the last 80 minutes, probably 100% of my passes are intercepted, AI shots are always on target and even if they dont score it'll be hard enough for my keeper to palm it for a corner

plus i struggled to put a perfect pass to my striker and normally his touch will go behind the defender but ******* go some where else especially when the game is drawn. somehow my players became retards who cant play proper football

with that, i hope some consideration will be put into fixing some of the crazy (unseen) attributes given to the AI players WHY ARE THEIR REACTION SO FREAKING FAST MAKING MY PLAYERS LOOK AT DUMBASSES

i really hope that human player skills be given more respect in this game and not trying to increase the difficulty by making the AI players super footballers...geez man
