NK FOOTBALL © V9 will again come with an update for the 2006 FIFA World Cup ™ game, only there is nothing converted or tested from V9 FIFA ™ 06 to the update for 2006 FIFA World Cup ™. This means it is behind in the ‘advancements’ made over the past few months. The gameplay in V9 for FIFA ™ 06 is probably more challenging, but the game-engine for the 2006 FIFA World Cup ™ game is better and improved meaning a fresh, all-new update is the way to go! I have already started on the ball physics and they have improved dramatically, playing on world class, normal game speed, the physics are slower and realistic. Plus the CPU team is improved and slightly more challenging.

The update will be released with V9 on the 4th August, next month.

that video you made of the full length game was good, i like how noticeable the curves are, and nice goal at 90th minute, but was that sped up so it saved space? or was it on normal speed.

Well the World Cup update that came with V8 was very much a conversion. It had problems and wasn't balanced for the World Cup game-engine.

The WC update included with V9 isn't ANYTHING to do with the update for FIFA 06. I'm making it now and it plays better than ever before.

Well the V8 WC 2006 update won't play as well as the one which will come with V9, mainly because the update is JUST based on the game-engine for the world cup game, which will allow me to build up on it.

I got the CPU to shoot from outside the box a few more times. I did it before, but the physics were awful from the conversion over from FIFA 06. But they've just scored a screamer against me on World Class so there is hope. NK FOOTBALL © knows best :)

Hey man, very good work with those gameplay updates... I've got the World Cup Version of FIFA 2006.. I'm currently using Biggy's update, but it's easy to score against the CPU.. just a long pass and it's done.. I won with costa rica against Brasil 6-1.. no good sign.. please, could You do something about that in Your update ??

AH YEAH.. and could You implement a slower gameplay ? I don't like the arcade style very much, but more simulation style like real life..

The update won't be ultra-slow or anything, granted the ball will be slower, players' will be slower and the game will be more challenging, but nothing that will make it look 'odd'.

The ball physics are trickier to work with than in FIFA 06, anyone who says otherwise will probably have an unbalanced update. It's harder to make it all flow together and look right at the same time. But it's coming along fine I think.

I'll release a video soon showing the new CPU improvements. Just lost 2-0 on world class England (me) v Germany. I also had less shots for once! Probably the first time I felt I've gotten somewhere with an update for the world cup game. the CPU out-played me.

Thanks man, it should play up to a level that you guys find it challenging and I am aware that some of you are better than others so this is taken care of as you will see during the installation process.

V9 is out 4th August. Just so you know my update isn't for anyone who dislikes FIFA games, I believe one has to enjoy the game, but at some point feel they're too good at it, and therefore wishes to update it. I wouldn't want someone who hates FIFA to update the gameplay then complain some more! Because they'll never be happy. An update is not a new game-engine.

that means that on slow mode it would be fantastic to play.. a real soccer emulation !! EA should pay You some because I'll leave PES for FIFA 06 WC patched with sweetpatch !! :lui:
