I'm just as disapointed as everyone to read this news. Unfortunately there were some small errors found in the setup files of the demo, and new setup files will need to be sent from EA Canada to EA UK (who are releasing the demo). Unfortunately this means the demo won't be available until next week. EA apologise as they realise how much you want to play the game.

(2 things piss me off 1) that we didnt get the demo, 2) we're gonna have the forum bieng really slow again next week with everyone waiting for the demo.)

:f***: What Can I Say?...I asked for a day-off just to play the demo and Matt just informed us that there is no DEMO today...well, I am disappointed but I guess nothing can be done...lets' just keep waiting...damn it...:kader:

Oh, so basically my thread that got deleted telling everybody it wasn't coming out today was 100% accurate!

Let's just say my prediction at there being no demo before the official release of the game for sales and marketing reasons is getting more and more likely as each day passes.

I respect that you love FIFA Matt but you seem to let EA cancel out your common sense on these things. The game is supposedly due for release soon but it seems every other day they are talking about a feature being taken away or changed. How much confidence can you have in a game that is not complete apparently two weeks before release? Doesn't that sound like an invitation for BUGS?!?! This is going to be the same situation as last year with some major flaws and the usual comments from EA saying "we didn't have time to correct it".

B. freaking S! They've had a freaking year to get it right. No demo two weeks before a release? Funny how the PC release got pushed back to November out of the blue.

It's time people understood the way EA work rather than being blinded with the same propaganda every year. For the next freaking ten years we're gonna get the same "oh, it will be different this year". Yeah, sure. And I can get everybody a great deal on buying Tower Bridge in London!

ya u r right but when they say somethin,they must b able 2 do it,not just saying anything,& all that people w8 & finally they apologise that they can't release it....

duh EA does like this everytime
they did it when they were to release cricket 2002 demo and delayed it for a month..with reasons like..license problems,corrupted dlls,and bugs ....wtf:f***:

EA didn;t give any definite date okay. They didn't promise anything!!

Sounds to me like EAC don't test the demos and just go by "probability of demo working". :(

forums the last week, you would have noticed the big demo on
kazaa which srangely enough looked like a more wrestling stylish
game ;) ;) ) And a numerous of worse "offences" than hrvojes
incredibly big scam :crazyboy: :crazyboy: .

But Matt i have a question: Does it take a really long time to
upload the files, or are they just very filled with bugs? Though EA
probably haven't told you.

The guy whom i am damn pissed off right now is Hrvoje. He said it is going to be here 5/6/7 pm UK time and look at what happened. He claimed that there his "friend" working in EA said that it is definitely released today!!
