Extremely easy to mod, open source, and, for being free, it is damn good. Sure, rough around the edges, but still.
The project is now abandoned by the original developers, but it is open source, meaning that there IS hope that someone pick it up.

To add teams, just edit the database sql file and add relative images to the folders, pretty straightforward.
