Halftime in the POL-BRA game. Polska up one-nil. (Y) Great freekick. Krol sent off for two yellow cards.

Gosh the commentators are f***ing stuipd. :nape: 20 seconds after the red card was shone, the fat guy goes, "...wait! Why is Krol walking to the tunnel?" "Did he get sent off?" *goes and counts players on the pitch* "He was given a red card?"

Yeah that was f*ckin' embarassing! I couldn't beleive those idiots couln't tell he got sent off, it would have been nice to get a couple guys who actually watch soccer to be commentators here :nape:

when the guy started counting players I actually yelled "OH for F*CK's SAKE!"

I think all the east coast stadiums have artificial turf but apparently they used that in the Peru Championships too.

I was laughing at the commentators too. I'm watching the game on a really bad internet stream and even I could see the guy get a red card. Plus the fact that he was crying and walking off the pitch while the commentator says that he needs to yellows to get a red. That commentator actually commentates American football/rugby games mainly and the CBC is too poor to afford proper commentators.

Just in 1 stadium for the U17 world cup as a test like that system to detect when the ball went past the line or not.

Congrats to Poland, well-earned victory. Brazil lacked any fire today.

I like the Polish fan contingents lol. They are intense in supporting their team. Apparently a few thousand of them made their way up to Montreal from Mississauga.

yeah congrats, that was a really nice goal, and what a defence!. Pato had a pretty bad start too he had the chance to tie but sent the ball to the stands...

My city could've just gone to that game. It's almost all Poles or Serbs or Bosnians or Croatians and a few Macedonians. Anyways, this Argentina game looks game and squad looks fantastic.

The other South American powerhouse also being held by European opposition:
Argentina 0-0 Czech Republic

Neither Brazil or Argentina seemed to be creative or lethal enough to find a hole in the big European defenses.
