No Wenger is very wrong. Taylor has never seen a red card in his entire career. He is NOT a violent player, and there was no intent in the tackle as bad as it was.

I must admit what i said what out of shock, i haven't followed Taylors career and i really don't know is he a violent player so i'll beleive you on that one, but fifa give more serious bans to players that do **** like materazzi does.

Have Arsenal set up anything so people can send their best wishes to Eduardo? United did it for Alan Smith and presented a book of e-mails to him. Smith said it helped to know the fans were behind him.

Awful injury.

i watched the whole thing once more today. the injury is really really awful. Poor Eduardo, he won't play in Euro 2008 now. :( This is really sad. I am probably one of the biggest Arsenal haters, but this injury is really something that goes beyond supporting your team, this is really horrible thing to happen.

There must be a way to punish the guys doing that kinda tackles. This shouldn't happen. No matter whether intention or not, most of those tackles are pretyt clumsy and this should be prevented. All players must be thought to play careful, because doing a tackle like that and getting away with a red only is too mild, i reckon. There must be something like 10 games punishment, or cleaning toilets job for the society. serious about the last one.

I'm a professional, qualified toilet cleansing technician, and I find that last sentence very insulting Adobe.

Fili man. You're a closet gooner, but we go back too far for that to matter.

I really am not in as much agony as an Arsenal fan is right now. You know me mate, if I was gutted I would say so, and not pretend otherwise. (H)

Flamini - We want to win the title for Eduardo

Mathieu Flamini has vowed to win the Premier League title for Eduardo.

The Croatian striker broke his leg in the opening minutes of Arsenal's game at Birmingham on Saturday. The incident overshadowed the first half and, though Martin Taylor had been sent off for the tackle, Arsène Wenger's side trailed at the interval.

Theo Walcott's brace saw them storm in front 10 minutes after the restart and Arsenal looked to be cruising to a vital three points until Gael Clichy was adjudged to have fouled Stuart Parnaby in the area deep into injury time. James McFadden scored from the spot.

Manchester United's subsequent win at Newcastle reduced Arsenal's lead to three points. It was a tough day all-round for Wenger's outfit but, according to Flamini, Eduardo's misfortune will spur on the side.

"We wanted to win the title before but now we want to win it also for him," said the Frenchman afterwards. "He is not going to be with us for a long time, so of course we want to win it for him.

"We are still three points clear at the top but the way we have only drawn is going to be disappointing because there was an opportunity to win this game. We came back, we showed great character and I think that was the only positive thing from the game."

Of course, the massive negative was the loss of Eduardo, who ironically celebrates his 25th birthday today.

"I genuinely didn't see the tackle," said Flamini. "But I could see it was bad because I saw the result. I have no words to describe what I saw.

"Yes, of course, it was difficult to get over in the game. He is a friend before he is a partner in the team. It upsets you but we're not going to say we conceded the goal because of that.

"We all said in the dressing room at half-time that we had to react. We want to win the title and we wanted to win this game. We came back we scored the first one very quickly and the second just behind.

"I think we should have killed the game. So, yes, we were very disappointed because it is a bad result for us, and especially when we conceded the goal 30 seconds before the end of the game.

"It is clear there was no penalty. We checked on the video so it is very frustrating. But I really don't think we deserved this result."

Arsenal 1 Villa 1

If you would have told me this result before the game I would have been pissed, but obviously after watching the whole game and watching the dramatic equalizer to maintain the lead of the Premiership I'm pretty happy.
Frankly Villa probably deserved the win and we, in particular our center backs, were just outplayed the whole game. It's a good thing Agbonlahor doesn't yet have a goalscoring instinct because he could've had 2 or 3 today.

BTW after today I've been thinking how many points Bendtner has potentially saved us this year. Off the top of my head I think we would have lost against Fulham on the first day of the season without him. I think he got us a point at Anfield, he scored the winner against Spurs and got us a huge point today. Like I said that's only off the top of my head and that's about 7 points he's got for us as well as good work in the cups.
I know he's not the only one responsible for getting us those points, and I'm not even saying he should start, but this year he's been a super sub and a key player to boot.

Great Job!

I actually jumped for joy when the goal went in at the end :D Marks another 1 of for the British clubs. Here's hoping for Chelsea and pool.

Congratulations to all Arsenal fans. Great performance by your club.

That's Arsenal 7-1 Milan clubs, in Milan (remember 5-1 over Inter).

A sensational win!

Talk about making a statement.
I have to honestly say I feared for us a little before the game considering what happened to United last year at the San Siro.

Still can't believe the goal Fabregas scored (and his facial expression while celebrating)

I have to say I was very impressed with that kid Theo Walcott, when he came in he immediately injected dynamic energy into the game, he really brough it on...well done Arsenal!

well done.
I am both Milan hater and Arsenal hater, but i am maybe "Ugly football" hater the most, so good for you to win at the end of the day.
Walcott played well. Which is exactly the opposite to how he performed in the games that Arsenal were trashed from Spurs in the Carling Cup.. :D
