Agreed Senderos needs to go. We could probably get a couple million pounds for him right?
Villa game should be a test. Man Utd went there and won 4-2 and Chelsea went there and lost, so this fixture tends to separate the very good from the great. I'm not at all saying that this will decide the title, but it's the kind of game that champions win.

Pay Socrates no mind. According to him all of our success is the result cheating, and we are a dirty team despite being renowned for our entertaining style of football. I think it frustrates him that a poor team can have success. Even a match where we could have scored 4 or 5 (with better finishing) is nullified by one player's time wasting.

Oh, and when Guti dives, fakes an injury, kicks an opponent, and then protests his red, Socrates says nothing.

Arsenal fans, I would come in here and tease you, but I have nothing but respect for your team. I am proud of our win tonight because I honestly think you are the best team in the world (at the moment). I wish you the best of luck in the Premier and the CL.

Entertaining? If you like to watch a team who dives every chance they get than sure it is but I am trying to watch a football match.

LOL, maybe you should go read the Madrid thread. There are reasons as to why I am happe that Guti is suspended. Also if Dani Alves, J. Navas, or any other Sevilla player was on my team I would not talk about other players diving. Alves is the superhuman diver.

Alex Hleb has been ruled out of the trip to Newcastle on Wednesday. During the morale-boosting victory over Aston Villa, Hleb collected a hamstring problem. “We have lost Alex Hleb from Saturday at Villa,” Wenger told Arsenal TV Online on Tuesday afternoon. Hleb is unlikely to be back for Arsenal’s return to the North-East on Sunday at Middlesbrough.

A good point, Although the sooner Helb and Cesc get back in the team the better. I'd like to see Bendtner get a start, he is a much better target man then Ade and would give us a much better outlet when our passing game is going, just like today.

Gilberto looked off the pace which i guess is to be expected and Diarra whilst he has his moments is giving the ball away far to often

we definitely have to win on sunday vs middlesborugh and we need to put in a good performance because the game against villa and 'castle was not all that great yes we got away with good results but the way we played was bad and we had no composure hopefully van persie gets back soon it says that he will resume full training so hopefully it will take him only a week or so because we need him especially know

yeah what the hell happened

Arsenal were out thought, outplayed and soundly beaten. They were s.h.ite.

Sagna, Eboue, Bendtner and Eduardo are very average players indeed. There is no quality throughout the squad to replace any injured players. That is down to Wengers failure to build a decent squad for a long hard season.

Some silly gooners had already predicted the League was won and that they could go all season unbeaten. The more intelligent of us, who have seen it all before knew better.

So what happened to this resiliance and "never say die" attitude that Wenger says runs throughout the entire squad then? They gave up today alright, just because 'boro did nothing more than fight for every ball. 'boro wanted it more than Arsenal, and Arsenal and Wenger underestimated 'boro to their regret today.

Well done 'boro.

Now we wait for the sad excuses from the gooners. Do we care?.....Nope.

Gloating?.....You bet your fu<kin' life I am.(H)

See ya at the Emirates next week boys:)

I get all cocky every time Arsenal lose a game mate. My hatred of Arsenal is legendary.

I very rarely come in here to rub it in, but I thought I would take a leaf from Tracertong's book and gloat, as he does on a regular basis in the Chelsea thread. He might be more subtle than I am but thats the only difference.

If you dish it out.....you gotta be able to take it.

3 away games in 8 days is enough to suck the energy out of a team. Tuncay motm today. He worked his socks off. Strange weekend though.

Bah! Every team has to deal with those kinda fixtures. It's probably true that it's energy sapping. Thats why a team needs strength in depth. A strategy which Wenger decided against.

I suppose if Arsenal fans were not so full of it all the time, then they wouldn't get it thrown in their faces so much when it does go tits up.

we won't win the league if we get that for the remainder of the season.
anyway, in arsenal's defence, to sum up why we lost - three words:

ALEX, CESC & MATHIEU

[missing]

we really need them next week. gilberto is appauling. as is eduardo. 8 flipping million.

Edu is being played out of position. he gets played at left wing which really doesnt suit him in England. This also means that Ade is alone up top and without Helb and Cesc it is very hard for him to link up with the midfield.

Diarra and Gilberto are much to similar, Denilson should start instead of one of them or ever Diaby

lol someone's takin advantage of the situation ^^^ it is true though and i love when managers look smart one day and morons the other.

wow you goons panik quick. Diarra & Gilberto arent alike, Diarra can defend decent & isnt/past or at his best. Diabys fine but denilson should definetely get more starts.
