We just lost a potential bid on a gold medal as Marianne Vos(who was odds-on favourite for the victory) just finished 6th in the road cycling for women. She still has two chances though.

Yesterday's men road cycling was awesome, Cancellara did fantastic and one of Poles placed 16th. Today Polish handball team will face the hosts; I expect an easy win.

Because of rain some events that I was waiting for are postponed; things such as : rowing and women's tennis.

The US relay swim team really got out of jail in the 4x100m final, great swim by Lezak at the end to win it. i really like how Speedo included the stars and stripes into the body suits looks great especially in the underwater cam.

Speaking about swimming, i hope Van den Hoogenband wins something he's a personal favourite.

Well actually he swam kind of crappy for his standards yesterday. It was thanks to Lezak that the USA won. I heard he swam 46.06 in that last 100m.

Still Phelps is the best swimmer ever ofcourse, certainly after he wins those 8 golden medals.

only Emmon beat him out and it wasnt by much. He still swam a very remarkable split imo....the progress he's made as a sprinter makes my head explode just thinking about it. I realize that the pool in China is very fast, but what he's been able to do with the kind of program he's carrying is truly awe-inspiring, man.



anyway....let's wait for the urine tests....or are they being tested after each finals event?
