I just enjoyed watching him chain smoke on the touch line in front of a TV audience of half a billion :(

My U-15 coach was an old Bavarian guy who called the box the "16" and smoked on the touchline during games. He also apparently was known for sharing shots of Jager with players on road trips.

Let me have it. We aren't going to beat you for another decade. 2002 was the peak of US Soccer. We have Dempsey and Bradley which are good, but O'Brien, Reyna, McBride, Sanneh, Friedel, and even a Hiddink coached up Beasley were a lot more than we had now. And 2002 Donovan is better than every WC version except maybe 2006.

Xifio tell us about your life history. At what age did you move to the USA? How old are you now? Where have you lived in between? I want to know everything.....

Hmmm... he also had a conversion van. If his wife and our parents weren't on all these trips I'd start thinking he was molesting my teammates.

Neymar is so brilliant, most determinant player in the world alongside Messi and Cristiano, but as much i love him he would break Barça's positional game, Messi actually does but he is Messi, not sure how "2 Messis would coexist" and the 3-4-3 seems history.

Messi breaks the positional game, but without him you would be too predictable. Also he is technically good enough to come and play in the midfield, which I don't think Neymar is. Neymar looks like a Nani type to me, IDK.

Doesn't means anything, Pedro for example stay wide in front and has a perfect knowledge of Barça's positional game.

You definitely never saw him play... Neymar has changed his game, now he drops deep and doesn't need Ganso anymore to make the difference.

The point is if Neymar would adapt to a style where Messi is the leader (Neymar is a player to focus all the ofensive game on him.) and how perverted would be the positional game with him and Messi.

I'm a big Neymar fan but tbh, he didn't show his domestic dominance at International level. He lost so many balls in that friendly against team GB. He's good player but still not top 10. He really needs to come to Europe to evolve his game based on good marking and defenders.

I have to agree with Arnau on one point that Neymar style changed, and it provided more goals and assists.

Did you know Messi is the player with most balls lost last season? But Neymar still should learn where he can lose the ball and where not.

In related news, Brasil's Olympic squad/starting XI is ridiculous. I would be rooting for them anyhow, but this just makes it sweeter! :D
