I can't understand how a professional athlete just dies from a heart attack at 26. This things shouldn't happen. I blame the ****** medical staff that gave Jarque the OK to play.

Died at young age 26, really sad RIP. He was on the peak of his life/career and damn screwed up . and I guess his girlfriend would feel shocked and extremely worried during the phonecall when there was no voice.

To die at such a young age is horrible. RIP.

Its not necessarily the drugs. Many of these footballers die due to genetic heart problems like Cardiomyopathies. Both Puerto and Foe died due to cardiomyopathies.

And for drugs, footballers don't take drugs (Ex steroid) to increase their physical ability (Cigars or cannabis is a bit differ) because it doesn't actually help for them in playing. Sometimes it is even worse on playing.

This is really sad to hear, rip.

I am really concerned, there have been too many deaths/or health problems with players in football in this last decade, i think it shouldn't happen to such healthy sportsmen so frequently. Are these guys being over used, pressured too much or something, maybe human body isn't cut out to the high standards of the modern game. I don't know, but it's hard to see us loose such young people like Puerta, Feher and now Jarque.
