as an avid pro evo fan i was quite surprised with the positive reviews of wc 2006 so i stupidly parted with 30 quid of my money.
installed the game but found setting up my ps2 pad via a usb convertor impossible.
switch to a 360 pad no problems and was ready to go.the game kicked off on what can only be described as a mud brown pitch.the players were too bright in texture and the pitches an absolute disgrace.
im running on a radeon x800xt card and i gather the game has problems with radeon cards and various so called fixes have been mentioned.
ea games can sod off if they think im messing about with my drivers when every other game (10 in all)on my hard drive works fine.

all in all couldnt give an opinion on the game because i never really played it and i never will.
back to pro evo and back to the shops for a refund me thinks.

whats that gotta do with anything?i got interested in the game round about the release of it after reading the reviews.
im not bothered about spending the money because im gonna return the game the fact is that its poor programming .how many pc's across the world use ati cards?

I thought you must be unhappy about other things because your grafix problem is solvable.

how?
looked on the ea support and they are working on an update.

I thought you said '...various fixes have been mentioned'. I'm sorry but I assumed they worked and you just couldnt be bothered with them, but it seems I might be wrong.

Why didnt you look at the demo 1st?

if the demo had all the bugs in it that the finished version had, then i would doubt that EA would have shifted to many of this title, i bought the 360 version after playing the PC demo (360 demo wasn't avalible until after the release of the 360 version) soley for the online mode, well anyone who has a 360 will know what crock of **** the online mode is for the 360, and EA don't seem to rushed to fix up the problems, why would they, conned us good and proper into buying this title
