That was quite a journey, I spent 3 months learning Blender, but now I should be able to convert FO4 Batistuta in 1 day prob. Unless I'm met with new complications. Platini will be part of my Revolta Mod, so I can take advantage of the situation to advert myself ;)
I will release single assets aswell, but need to polish the mod to be ready, it's a small one but I hope to find some people to help with the mod and organisation(I'm planning to open Discord and I'm active on many modding Discords aswell, mostly FIFA Modding World).

When someone tried to help extract FIFAMOD files for us to convert FBX to RX3 they were banned !!

Why who play FIFA 22 have the right to use the converted F04 faces (by users) and us can't use the faces made (by users) for FIFA 22 in previous versions ??

Really man? I am stupid enough to share everything with community but I totally understand that someone else is not ok with it as much as I am not ok with reuploading my work. Respect other members and their work, skills and time.

How long does it take to convert 1 face?
My first face I spent 3 months lol
But it is doable in 2 hours prob when focused and everything clicks first time. I just learned Blender from scratch during that time and did other mod related things.

Well it's just the perk of having FIFAMOD files. Back in the days you could steal as u want, nowadays EA made it so it's harder to mod but the system also prevents stealing stuff. I personally don't like it, coz you can't change or add IDs, but it is what it is. Also anyone can get those old FIFA files through CM and other ways(like XBOX360 iso) and do it on their own and it's their work. I agree that assets should be available to everyone without locks, but then people steal and don't provide credits. I'm making mod which consists of many puzzled assets and I'm making them work together and from my perspective I'd love to have single faces be with meshes and textures so I can use new mesh old texture sometimes or simply assign it to ID of my choice. Same with anything other like parts of DB tables and locale files. So yeah modding is somehow harder than it was despite all technological progress, but with EA it's also not enough technology lol.

Hi. Can you please describe in more detail how to convert faces rx3 to fbx?
Basically is exporting rx3, put into Blender using FIFA 15 Importer/Exporter(it's there on some thread on SG), link with skeleton from any FIFA 22 head(so you need to import it too), do the shenanigans with vertex weights(it's the hardest parts, basically making animations work well and I have tutorial for that on FIFA 22 Modding World Discord in #tutorials). It's all the same like in PES conversion except you don't really need to delete bunch of meshes, but instead just know which parts are head, hair and haircap. Those vertex weights is the stuff that is not the same in older FIFA, so you need to edit it and my method works converting from FIFA Online 4 to FIFA 22, but for other Fifas you have different number of those weights and there are like 350 total bones in skeleton and they differ. But the aim is 93 exact same ones like in FIFA 22. When you read tutorial and watch PES conversion videos you will get it after some time. I took 3 months to convert 1 face and learn Blender why everything is as it is. But since I'm doing bigger mod I would rather my method to work with all the faces lol I will soon test it on different faces and make an update.

Well I am currently trying to convert FIFA 14 De Paul with some friend. We managed to do everything except making good method to convert vertex weights, which is the most important part. We tried raw FIFA 14 mesh and converted using Tokke's tool to FIFA Online 4(the one I can convert), but the weights transfer is not working correctly. I wonder how the technical mesh stuff looks like, because maybe it's all about correct mapping vertices. I am not yet an expert on that lol

I still have one more idea, but it's rather desperation act more than an actual try. I will try to get head with 52 weights working(93 needed on FIFA 22 meshes). It's because editing every point is doable, but so timewasting and I am rather looking for fast method. Because otherwise I think it's possible to convert face from any FIFA, but it's a lot of fucking with that to be brutally honest. For my mod I prefer to convert old boots and balls and make players very detailed rather than only make them face that differs with 2 wrinkles.

So guys, catch me at FIFA 22 Modding World and my Revolta Icon Mod discords for more detailed stuff. As I said it's not impossible and I'm looking for efficient method to make it and don't know why Dare didn't share his methods. You would save me a lot of work my friend lol

TL;DR
You need to learn Blender to know how to convert faces as most FIFA are not straight forward. You need a lot of work. I'm still looking for easier method.

So, my FIFA 14 conversion is still underway - managed to convert hair and haircap of Bobby Charlton. They work fine. For the head there is one method unleashed, but it's not ideal. A lot of details are missing from original face and I would prefer continuing on my searching for now.

The fact is that transferring weights does not work correctly even with converted mesh to FIFA 22 format. So I changed approach and want to find out which weights are necessary for model to import and later have correct animations in game. That would make me a 3D artist(lololol), because I would probably have to make some weights myself. If that works out then I should have viable method of converting basically any FIFA meshes.

It won't be as easy as I originally planned it, but head models will look really nice, I mean just look at this model without a texture and real player comparison. First model is the original, second is using @Skoczek method(it again would require finding similar model and other program). As you can see some details(especially that gallant mouth look) are gone on the second model.


If I succeed then I would have ready tutorial on how to do it for FIFA 14 meshes(I started with it, because FIFA 14 has a lot of patches and mods that will make a huge number of faces possible to convert)! I will notify you all about my success or failure.

Charlton and Batistuta are FO4, Belletti and Facchetti taken from Classic Patch 14! Tutorial is quite long and I need time to make it. It will include known problems with dental gums(XD), neck, eyes and teeth and their legacy textures format!

I have the tutorial. It's very basic and I was in a bit hurry and mess doing it. Still I think it's better than nothing, because I also wanted to showcase when you have bugged dental part and show universal method with all shenanigans(like texture changes, teeth swap etc.).
