Paulv2k4 FIFA 16 Gameplay & Career Mod

This is a collaboration of two separate mods to improve the career mode experience. It is designed (and tested) for Locked Player, Be A Pro, CPU vs CPU games but I am sure you will have some fun in standard games too.

Features
Gameplay Mod (Aims not promises)
  • Balanced goalkeepers
  • Improved build up play - less play around the back
  • "Loose ball", more spin and difficult to control
  • Increased game swing - CPUAI will finish you off by scoring a 2nd or 3rd!
  • Improved corners and crossing
  • Increased realistic fouls

~~Please be aware the GP & Career Mod files are based upon experiences watching and being apart of the English League structure. It therefore may not suit your tastes~~
Career Mod
  • Transfers
    - More active teams and leagues (WIP - Only English Leagues are improved/tested so far)
    - Less top player movement (No more Aguero to Bayern/Barcelona/Real Madrid)
    - More Loans to smaller clubs (Top teams now happily loan players to lower leagues)
    - More Lower English League Club movement (This is a big plus and improves the lower leagues, massively)
    - More difficult to buy the best of a league (In the championship I am unable to purchase any top championship players since being promoted)
  • Wages
    - Changed, good younger players can now be loaned as they cost less (I wouldn't say "improved" just yet! Work In Progress!!)
    - Players will more actively demand higher wages, more often
  • Form
    - Increased affect on players abilities (just like a Manager game)
  • Fitness
    - Less regeneration when unfit and recovering from injury
  • Training
    - Training Drills - Decreased Training Drills growth
    - Training Drills - Can now train Acceleration, Sprint Speed & Jumping!
    - Less general player growth - Players decrease if not playing
  • Scouting
    - Reports are published every 3 - 7 days
    - More players are found per report
    - More accurate findings are made on each player
    - Players are more suited to your team ability
  • Difficulty
    - Quite simple really, I can no longer win every game, especially against the strongest teams
  • Player Attributes
    - Through the Form Modifier I have significantly decreased all player attributes

Full Auto, sometimes semi.
Normal speed. Slow doesn't make much difference in my opinion.

Sliders:
Sprint: 50
Accel: 50
Shot Err: 47
Pass Err: 54 (I have raised this to 95 and found the game VERY loose)
Shot Spd: 54
Pass Spd: 40 (Lowering this decreases game speed and decreases pass accuracy - if you want it)
Inj F: 50 (handled in the ini, the only ones you can control through the ini)
Inj S: 50 (handled in the ini, the only ones you can control through the ini)
GK: 10 (must be low to balance the game properly)
Mark: 50
Run: 59
Height: 60
Length: 60
Width: 50
Fullback: 50
First Touch: 50

Is this compatible with my saved Career?
Yes

Can I use this with XXXXXXX Mod?
Yes, but I can not be held responsible for that mod affecting mine!

How do I install it?
GP Mod - copy the cl.ini & product.ini over to your FIFA Root Directory
Career Mod - copy the dlc folder over to your FIFA Root Directory

The goalkeepers are too good!?!?!
You should lower the goalkeeper ability slider to about 10 for CPU & User!

- Removed Form Modifiers affecting Career Mode (May re-introduce a balanced version in the future)

Good man Paul, can you let us know which FIFA16.exe update you have based this on?

I recall your earlier gameplay patches (me being 100% CPU vs CPU, I never play the game!!) being organic and very interesting, a nice option as opposed to Fidel's equally interesting DB/AI work.

I notice that the little teams does ever 85-90 % correct passes in default or in every mod.( not as in real)

Thanks :). I haven't updated to the latest, I think I am on Update 1, I can't see the latest update making any difference though.

It is really difficult to decrease the accuracy of the passes as EA have super powered them. It is because the game likes to pass backward and in short games if you have poor accuracy you'd only have 1 goal a game at most, which is boring.

I haven't tried increasing the pass error to 99 to see if it makes any difference. Perhaps you could try it out?

Yes I tried Paul,but putting 90+ error passes,the GK wrongs almost always the short pass,and the players wrong every cross.

Hey Pedrito.

Okay that is interesting. So it looks like it only affects Long Passes.

Perhaps you should try decreasing it to 10 instead? To see if you get the opposite effect and more long passes? Which may lead to a lower pass success rate.

Yes Paul I tried error passes 80 CPU but sadly the little team does 85 % accuracy pass.
I tried every mod but seem that is it very difficoult can reach the real accuracy passes of little teams.
For example look that please : http://www.whoscored.com/Regions/10.../12770/TeamStatistics/Italy-Serie-A-2015-2016

In italian serie A frosinone,carpi dont reach 75 % accuracy pass. I guess is ok if it is for example 5 % more but I think 10 % more isnt real.
I try to ask also to Fidel in his thread.

Look. There is no way to decrease pass accuracy as in the cone it uses to pass in game through ini. You can only change pass decision. If you change that the gameplay is awful.



So I seriously doubt you will get what you want. Sorry.

paulv2k4, can I ask your help not on your mods?
I did many changes in game, just for himself, and I now very much like the game as I got. But in some moment I start seeing one unpleasant problem. CPU players is too many passes in game. One-two touches - pass, One-two touches - pass... Players do not keep the ball at all time... Pass, pass, pass... :-(
You may suggest that I try to edit to improve this? Maybe the columns buspassing and ccpassing in defaultteamdata?
And what about this problem in your mods? :rolleyes:

thanks you for sharing you gameplay :wootman: testing the v10 tonight, i'm playing call of duty and fallout4 so i don't have much time actually to play football but i love every time your mod so i post a feedback after my test. :bow::bow::bow:

Hi,
Just to see what happened I put one of your gameplay files from 15 into 13 and they were shooting and scoring from 35+ yds out, but no matter what I do can`t get them to shoot from any distance in 16, any ideas?.

One of my 15 files had the objective system turned off, which makes the game's long shooting go crazy but it turned off through passes.

I would say my version 10 has long shots in FIFA 16. It might be because ive changed the slider settings too. Ill update the first post with my sliders soon.

Following on from the discussion about Short Passing accuracy. If you set the sliders to Pass Error = 90 and Pass Speed = 10, the pass accuracy decreased a LOT! You guys should try this out if you want that kind of game.

Definitely better then vanilla game. Only tested couple games so far and noticed the AI have 40-45% possession in every game (dosnt matter if they play at home or away) I played. Must be cause they dont pass around as much in their defense and try to be more direct. Many times that leads to the AI "forcing" the play and its very easy to get the ball. Playing on Legendary.

I always forget, do I need to regen when copying dlc files?

Edit: The guide in main post about installing the career mod is slightly misleading, folder provided is one step ahead and needs to be put inside dlc directory rather than root. Just a heads up.
