they can. you need to use photoshop to open dds files or use an online converter to convert them to png or something else...
There is this thing called Google. Not sure if you've ever heard of it but it's this thing that you can ask anything and there is a 80-90% chance you will always get your answers
I think you misunderstood me，i know how to view and edit dds file,but the dds file extracted today from the tool can't be viewed and edited,so...sorry poor english

NOTE: If you are first using this tool, it will attempt to create a full copy of your Data folders (to leave them unaltered for a vanilla launch). This will take some time on first launch!

Did you turn off your anti-virus/Windows Defender?
poor english? seems more like poor understanding of image editing basics.
the tool works just fine. and all extracted images can be edited perfectly fine.
maybe check your tools. no-one else has these kind of problems.

I turned off Windows Defender but it still don't work, no thing is loaded in explorers
Did you run the tool as admin?
Try to load FIFA 20 first. Then FIFA 21.

The tool works 50/50 on my computer. Sometimes the tool did not download files, it stuck at "Download type information".
Then I opened FIFA 20 and the download process started. FIFA 20 takes a long time to load, about 60 minutes. When it's over, I fire up FIFA 21 and everything starts working!
This is all about Alpha 6.
The latest version (7.1) works fine, except for one thing. Not all files are present in the legacy editor. For example, the adSponsors512x64 folder is almost empty. In the previous version, this was fine.

1. there is no need for me to try, dude. maybe it reads it but this is not the purpose for this tool. at least not for now. if you want to open fifa 20 just use frosty.

I can't even launch the game from the tool.
