Pede 54's Kit Thread III......The Saga Continues...

CARRICK

Do NOT give me Upton Park stadium.
Hi Pede mate!

Pede, have you actually made the new Chelsea Kits for 05/06 season?
If so could you please provide me with a link to them - Cheers pal!

As for my comments about Charlton - I stand by what i say, boring team with no ambition. NEVER BEEN IN EUROPE

Chris Powell did not get West Ham back into the premiership. He played well for us, but i think you will find he had no role in the build up to the goal that was superbly put away by Bobby Z. The cross from Matty Etherington was sublime.

Looking forward 2 April Fools day at Upton Park this year. Im gonna have a nice old laugh at the expense of the 'Addicks' who im confident we will beat. :hit: :bouncy:

Cheers guys and cheers Pede!
God bless,
<carrick>

One more thing Pede my old son,

I am really desperate to see your take on the new West Ham United home kit for the upcoming premiership campaign. Would you be able to make it for me? I would be extremely grateful (yet again) Below is a selection of pics that will help you:

I know another kit maker has also attempted the new strip, but i always like to see your work.

Thanks mate!
All the best,
<carrick> :sun:

Would like to see what your definition of ambition is? - the fact that we have bought in 9 players already, with that figure to rise - including the most exciting upcoming English striker - plus the extention of the Valley - nah we aint got no ambitions at all! lol

Also would like to mention that we are the role models of the game today - quoted by several managers and chairman!

And remember - your campaign last season was not about "one game" - maybe you should take a look at what happened ;)

Well like it not Breamster, last season was all about one game that resuluted in Promotion to the premiership. It rendered the rest of our season insignificant. I dont think you have much of an argument against that. :read:

BTW i would love to know what Young striker you are talking about? I will laugh if you are talking about Jermain Defoe, because we made him a premiership player. He gained recognition at OUR club, where he started his career as a top flight player.

But i wouldnt bother using examples of Charltons fine 'academy' if i were you, because it appears to lack quality when placed in comparison to West Hams (producing the likes of Joe Cole, Frank Lampard and Rio Ferdinand - have i mentioned this before?)

IVE JUST REALISED! U may well be talking about Darren Bent! Well he didnt appear to be too promising when we turned him and Ipswich over in the playoffs! Small time player though, just right for a club such as yours.

As a final note, i would just like to illustrate the contrasting quality within our clubs. I attended ur pitiful home defeat against Man Utd last season (i gladly watch them net 4 goals against Andersen, ur so called 'better' keeper, on his debut). Anyhow the real comedy came at half time which brought the Charlton Athletic 'greatest player awards'. The greatest defender award went to Richard Rufus (never a regular England player and hardly a big fish in the football world during his playing career). Now compare him to West Hams greatest ever defender, Bobby Moore who lifted the WORLD CUP as CAPTAIN OF ENGLAND in 1966 and a European trophy plus the FA cup whilst at West Ham. The point is, Charlton Athletic will never be able to produce the class of players that West Ham have throughout the years. Also, it doesnt look like they will ever be able to get into Europe (something else the Hammers have achieved on several occassions)

But i cant blame you for supporting that south London rubbish, ur just 'ADDICKTED!' :rofl:

God bless,
<carrick>

They must have changed the rules where u have to finish in the top 3-7th spot without me knowing!

Read my initial post properly - ull find what your looking for there then ;)

why do west ham and palace fans always pick one game - must be coz they are only used to "cheering" one goal or one win LOL - quite apt that you attend Charlton games - simply because you want to watch quality football :D

The guy is a legend - he started life at a club which i now coach :D - Da Ruf retired due to injury at the age of 29 - he was tipped for England by Sven, when Powell was called up as well - if injuries did not play apart of his career at the end this would have been different.

Shame its all history :D

Thats quite bizarre as something will be happening soon with this :D

At least we have a history! :Carlos*o:

I must conceed, you put forward a good defence Mr Breamster. If only the Charlton back four were more like you. Im afraid things are gonna have to improve at the back if the final portion of last season is anything to go by.

Now lets shake hands, accept our differences and get this thread back on topic. Admittely things could be worse, u may support Spurs, Palace or Millwall. Ur team isnt too bad really, in many ways it is a commendable club and my grudge is born out of jealousy that uve been playing in the premiership consistenly over the last few years. But hey, football wouldnt be the same if such London rivalries didnt exist.

All the best for next season.
God Bless,
<carrick>
