What does this patch fix? Is it any good? Seems a bit shady to say the least...

Can't download it myself until tomorrow.

hi im having trouble installing this patch, i have downloaded it from konami then opened the folder then began installing the patch, i choose the language then it says extracting files etc etc then says preparing to install it does about 3/4 then says about i dont have sufficient privillages to install for all user, please log on as the adminstrator but i am the administrator according to my control panel, any ideas on what to do would be thankful.

i think u use vista... right click the setup file, choose "run as administrator", and install...

after i installed the 1.10 patch i have a big problem
when i launch pes08 i get a bluescreen and my computer restarts :(

Before patch I had a big problem = every match i played i got disconnected and lost 3-0...after the patch the problem remains but now i get a message saying "your computer's processing speed has slowed. Quit the match" WTF IS THIS? crapgame

judging by the last 2 posts this patch doesnt seem good, has any one else had problems with this. because i am unsure now whether to install it.

Players slide around the pitch without moving their legs.

Absolute rubbish. Why couldn't CONAMI just leave the online system as it was in PES6, with a matchroom where you could chat to other players and have a laugh.

I AM GETTING A BIT FED UP WITH THE GAME TELLING ME "AN ERROR HAS OCCURED. FAILED TO CONNECT TO OPPONENT." OR "CANNOT ACCESS DUE TO ANOTHER PLAYER."

What a rip off.

Nokami once again proving what a bunch of incompetent clowns that they are, what is this patch all about? All it seems to do is provide a new PES2008.exe file, and no info whatsoever about what (if anything) has been patched?!?!

I hate EA but at least they post what their patches fix on their website....jesus
Shi tty online play, game issues...glad i waited this one out before buying it.

Changes in version 1.1


1) Lag issues resulting from slow connections have been improved.
2) The speed the power bar builds up is now consistent.
3) Small mistakes in the in-game text have been fixed.
4) Minor issues that occurred under rare conditions have been solved.
