I see at throw ins that we still have the 10 yard rule, the invisible wall around the play so you can't get close. Yes very real in a game of football

Discounting the "next-gen" graphics (which didn't really look much like that either), i must say among all the PES versions starting from PES3, this one appears to have the least football feel to it. Reminded me of older FIFA titles, actually... now that's a really worrying sign.

With next-generation, Konami told in an interview that PC version will be the reference version also for PS3 and Xbox 360...

I don't think you should panic that way. Maybe the guy that was playing wasn't a great player, and also I always had 'problems' to adapt to new versions, especially when they changed the engines. So I'm going to wait until I play four or five games to give my opinion. It doesn't look like it's not going to like me.

I think this is a video of PES6.

PES2008 was supposed to be a next-gen game with new engine taking 18 months to develop. I see no evidence of that in the video.

There wasn't anything to suggest this was on the pc, or did I miss something... but it certainly wasn't the ps2 version


The graphics look similiar to pes 2006 on the xbox 360 as do the cut scenes, but the overall feel I got was lacklustre which sums Konami up for the last few years,the gameplay tempo is still far too fast for my liking, makes it look unrealistic and some of the player positioning still looks dodgy at times ...

Konami have to give us a demo this time before it comes out though, if they don't I will have my suspicions
