Just played my first match (Tottenham - Bayern) and I must say that gameplay is improved. AI is much organized in both attack and defence. So, generally it's good.

Animations are those that are bad. And I can't accept them as realistic, it's so childish.
If you ask me: FIFA 2012 or PES 2012? I will say FIFA, definitely. But this year even PES is good, surprisingly good.

Big plus in PES is that it never have lags, unlikely FIFA.

Please i can't still skip Intro after watching it for the first time. Can someone kindly zip and upload the files in his PES 2012 DEMO 2 Folder in My Documents. WIll it work then?! Or is there a tools for it?! Because it is really frustrating that i have to watch the Demo over and over again! Every time! And in DEMO 2, Intro is even longer!

Delete pes12pv file in "img" folder to skip intro.

I will try to be objective here, but if I had to chose the footy game after demos I would buy PES 2012.

Yes, it's not perfect in any way, but definitely KONAMI and Seabass team know what have they done wrong all the time. PES 2012 demo is the first PES demo I truely enjoyed. Last time I had such big grin on face playing PES was when I played PES 6! And that says something.

This demo has it's flaws, but I wouldn't count animations into flaws. They are better than ever on Pro Evo. What's more, the player reactions are crisp and smooth. Something I couldn't say for 6 years! No more stupid pause when you turn 90 degree ;).

I have few problems though. Shooting feels so light. You may power the bar full and the shot will feel heavily underpowered.
The GK are retards on lower levels of difficulty (Begginer - Professional). They get to do amazing stuff on Top Player and Superstar difficulty though :/. Plus with this AI... Prepare to get heavily raped. AI does some amazing stuff with ball.

Here is a hint though to lessen the struggle a bit ;). Learn the new defensive system PES 2012 introduced. It's not worth defending like in older PES titles (ie hold A+X). Learn how to use RT + A to close down one player in one on one and get RT release timing right to make perfect tackle. This has one advantage over double player press, you won't leave gaps in defense.

I will just remind you... AI is superb with killer through balls if they see any gap in your defense.

Can I see anymore flaws? Yes. Passing. It's now assisted/semi assisted, a lot. It's not full manual anymore. Don't get me wrong though, passing in this game is simply a joy to watch. I would just pass the ball around and look how players position to recieve/pass ball further.

Can't wait for full game and a taste of new Football Life Season :D

For me PES only need's to improve animations. The day when PES gonna have realistic animations is the day when PES will be ahead of FIFA.

I like KONAMI, they are hard working developers. And PES 6 is still considered as the best fotball game ever made.

This year KONAMI was specially concentrated on "off the ball movement" and it looks pretty good. I was surprised how good it is this year!

But even if we look from neutral position PES have nice graphics, great ambient, many players have real faces, there is Champions League, great Master League... Shortly, they have everything, but it lack's that "something", and for me this is animations. And yes, they don't have all licensed leagues, but this is not the problem cause PES is very easy to edit. Just few days after full release there will be patches with fully licensed clubs and improvement.

PES will beat FIFA big time... And that might be very, very soon.
