Amazing graphics and gameplay!! FIFA 15 is nothing if its being compared with PES 15. Why they made the PC version based on PS3 version :( Hope PES 16 on PC will be like PS4.

After dozens of matches, on both difficulty (Regular and Superstar), I have better picture of PES 2015. And its not that great. As most of the gamers, watching all those YT videos of new PES made big impression on me. Playing it is different story. I already said that PES 2015 looks too fast, players feet work is like they all have Dribble Speed on 99. It's annoying and it's not only their foot work but most of the animations are unrealistically fast. You can see that in replays more then during gameplay. Watching replays is like watching fast forward tape. It all runs in smooth 60 FPS, but perhaps if they fix replays on 30 FPS it would be much better.

Anyway, to sum up...

+
  • Long passes (especially long through passes) are absolutely amazing. Never has PES had this great feel of long passing.
  • Responsive dribbling, finally. Everything is more responsive now.
  • Graphics are amazing

-
  • Too fast animations, replays and footwork.
  • Ball fees like glued to the pitch during low passing.
  • Less fouls then in 2014. And more so, 95% of them are yellow or red card, so, refereeing is still not on the top.
  • Goalkeepers. Yup, goalkeepers. They still have their moments, like not rushing forward, or letting the ball through their hand. All kinda moments.
  • Few gameplay bugs. If you stay in your half of the pitch, AI will not attack you. I stood with my player for whole half and nobody attacked me. I tried it few times, it was not always like that, but it happens.

I believe KONAMI released the DEMO to get feedback and fix it for final release. And I really hope they'll do that. PES 2015 is gameplay wise much better then FIFA 15, but it lacks variety it once had. Like in 2013 and 2014, for example. FIFA 15, though, has fantastic presentation, and I really hooked to it in the Demo, so now I fell that PES 2015 lacks better atmosphere.

Thanks.

How similar is PES14 to PES15 (e.g. I feel PES12 is similar to PES13, but 13 to 14 is not)?

Well, people say PES 2015 is just faster and more responsive PES 2014. I would not say so, but you can see and feel the same base on which both are made. 2015 have more variety of animations, slightly better collision system, obviously better graphics, and more responsiveness. Speaking of graphics, from some angles, pitch look very pale and low texture, but not a big deal. Player body models, face textures, stadium and everything looks fantastic. Fox Engine really have amazing lighting, probably the best lighting till date.

Though, 2014 and 2015 are similar in terms of gameplay, I would say. Player movements, smart defense and attack, tactical part... but I expected more from 2015.

2015 reminds somehow of PES 6. If you liked 2014 gameplay, you would like 2015 even better, if you don't mind the speed. It's much faster.

I would actually like KONAMI to release second DEMO prior to full release, cause from seen, I'm have not bite that much to actually buy it. They have plenty of time to fix everything, though.

From time to time, player collision doesn't work. Players got through each other bodies, like ghosts, like there is a script forcing player to go from point A to point B no matter the obstacle. During replays, FIFA 15 uses motion blur and depth of field, and it really looks real life. PES 2015 presentation (replays) is awfully unrealistic, I must say.

New BGS Trailer

There are some rumours saying licensed Vfl Wolfsburg and Borussia Monchengladbach will be featured. We know for now that Bayern Munchen, Bayer Leverkusen and Schalke 04 are licensed. Berlin Olympiastadion might also be included along side Warsaw National Stadium.

never played PES before, does it have "contain" or you are free to chase the man on the ball with your selected player and try a standing tackle whenever you want?

Yes, you can contain and tackle in any moment by double tapping X/A or whatever platform you play. Contain is automatic (holding X/A) and you can also decided the distance between you and the opposition with left analog. Its very simple and effective. Similar to FIFA.

I remember the days when fifa doesn't had automatic contain and X was just for pass/ chase the man with the ball when defending, without stop in front of him and contain, and pressing O almost allways leaded to a succesfull standing tackle. Automatic contain is a pain, because of that i was hoping PES doesn't have it too :P

Yea, it was straight run toward the opposite player, it's changed in both FIFA and PES in last few years. It's called Tactical Defending. You can switch it off in FIFA, though. Not sure about PES, I must check it out.

you are right but if you change back to legacy defending you can't do standing tackles by pressing O anymore. It will be automatic and there is like allways when the defenders don't do any tackle.
