Did you guys actually read the review before throwing your opinions around? I cant believe the amount of people claiming hes an idiot for reviewing an unfinished game etc. If you actually read the review to the end, not just the first three lines you will see he is actually reviewing the final complete build of pes6 which he recieved from konami. The initial comment about the demo he played at x06 was just for reference so he could explain the difference between the demo and the final game. God some people, too busy trying to give an opinion that its blinding thier own ignorance.

Ahemm, Mr. 9 out 10. May be im more PES fan that you, but that facts are the facts, and for this reason, im really dissapointed since a lot weeks ago. The new thing, the slowdowns....in a 360 is not concebible. Gameplay is asways good on PES series, so this is not a surprise for all people i think. But, from Konami, the didnt reshoot all the movements, neither improve really the graphics stuff (remeber the first renders that Konami sells us as ingame pics), you must to see that weird sprite crowd, pfff...my god, in a 360. So there´s not new engine too, only refined game. And if you count that editor dont leave you change teams things, an ESENTIAL thing on the Pes series (Chelsea for example is not licenced, aswell all the Bundesliga, etc...then i have to play with Chelsea without edit their kit?? No badges change options?? So i guess that Konami is working in a pacth?¿?¿? lol...., well....i dont know where do you get this 9 out 10 saying that is the best football game available for any format.

Finally, i enjoyed a lot with pes5, we10, and older series, but in this year, with the next-gen thing, with powerfull ati and nvidia cards on the pc´s, etc....Konami cannot release a game that is totally out of context of this things. May be this game could be 10 out 10 last year, but not now.

P.D: Agree about that you cannot make a review of a demo with the viewpoint that you are talking like if you played the final release. The author of this review is talking about more "new things coming", or something like this....Well, then explain me how the hell the can improve something if the game will be realeased in 7 days, what happend, that Konami is like a kind of God or something, making games in 6 days and resting the 7th??, please.....

u guys should take up videogame programming lets see if your better than konami. i do programming and its not a joke. slow down can be fixed but at times the bugs make the game look like it wasnt tested or they were too lazy.

PeFan....ahem....we brought years and years editing all the possible stuff of this game, from programming to the last detail of a face, and i must to say that we beat Konami each year, you only must to see the face/kit/balls/stadiums/makers creations that makes the game much better. With the potential of an Xbox 360 or high pc, with powerful ATI/Nvidia cards, there´s no excuses for slowdowns. If it happends is due to 2 things, or the machine is not able to transference all the data due its limitations, or programers had not refine the graphic engine. In this case, i bet for the last option, the 360 version is plently of lacks, when in theory it should to be the more potent version (next-gen), but Konami had decide to make a port....ok.....good for them, let´s see how the sells will goes. PC option can be better may be if you have a high end pc....but....pfff...i dont know...it dont convince me....i think that Konami is taking a wrong direction, thinking on the fast money instead of to think in the consumers, like years ago, PES3, PES4, PES5,etc...

The simple fact is, they genuinely ran out of time with this project. They could impliment the editing stuff but, at this late stage, it'd mean a product recall and numerous delays.

It's not a simple port like the PS2 and PC versions are. It's a new game on a new system. Well, relatively.

I also had the chance to play PES6 in PS2.

Basically, for those who had the chance to play WE10 (japanese), PES6 is an upgrade of that version.

The core of the game is mainly the same. The important changes are relationed, IMO, with the goalkeepers, the defense (is more manageable), the pass system (has been upgraded, more real), and also that the shots are a bit more difficult to perform (also more real, you have to be in a good position to take a good shot).

Though these seem to bit small changes in relation to WE10, they are great for the flow of the game in general.

If you want a comparison with PES5 or WE9LE, the game is a different thing. You will love this game compared to PES5.

I will see what else can I find while I keep playing. But I'll be waiting for the PES6 PC release, as I don't own a PS2.

All the anxiety is coming from 360 owners who think editing is an integral part of the process. I can't wait to get hold of my 360 copy, personally. Regardless of the features missing, it apparently plays a more fluent game.

One of the aspects that give more realism to the game is exactly the ingame editor, a thing that always belongs to the game. To put it outside is a bad thing. I have a pc and a 360, so i surely could edit on pc, but, in theory, the best version, between quotes, of this game should to go to 360 (indeed to a high end pc too, but this is another story). A version that from the beggining Konami saids that it will be next gen. Well, gameplay is the same, they didnt rewrite the code from WE10 or PES6, there´s a few retouches on some aspects, but as you say, Konami decided to release the game as soon as better, money rules, and all the first promises are finally totally out of context. It´s not serious to have a team like Chelsea, with not official kit, without the posibility of to change the faces, etc, for to put only 1 example.....so, ok, then go to the pc version, yes, i can create the kit, and make the face,,, but, oupsss, is the same that WE10 but with more resolution, not next gen graphics...hmmmm...something is not working properly with all of this. Is not professional, so we have games done at 75%.

Waiting until next year, for more false promises??, no thanks. I think that i will take my nike freestyle ball to make a few touches with my friends this weekend, im sure that is better that all this bussines thing that is killing the good football games.

I'm glad some people think programming is easy here. I mean you guys should have a crack at it. A whole a4 page full of code to allow one player to run for a couple of seconds and maybe do a skip jump.

Its not easy but then again what we paying Konami for?

They need to work hard on these games.

I respect editors man. Even though i'm a console player. We still use the option file. Your right about Konami. They need to get to work!

Im not saying that programing is easy, almost for my part, it brings time, when im coding for some game it can bring me months, like some big editions, etc. But Konami didnt starts from zero, i mean, there´s an engine that they used for WE10, and all this code is revised and updated for to create PES6. Again, i considered that is a matter of time, may be it will be better to launch PES6 later for to have time to get more deeper inside the code, rewrite all the animations, etc.....

May be is a not so important thing, but, i cannot understand why faces still not look next gen, i mean, gameplay could take months and months to rewrite it, to reshoot all the players movements, etc.....but, headshapes and faces textures?? I think that this part is more easy, between quotes, and it seems that they take it not very seriously.
