For each new conversion type, a lot of work must be done in Blender or another 3d software.
You need to open the target-game kit model, then open source-game kit texture (jersey/shorts/socks must be combined to one texture, if they are separate), then map the texture onto the model by modifying UV coordinates (UV map).

And it's still not easy when you have kits with long and short sleeves, different collars, armband etc.

I think the most complicated part is a jersey torso part.
Indeed there are many different collars, but a collar is a small part of geometry, so maybe it's not that hard to do it.
For sleeves it's only short and long, and you need to work only on one side because the other can be just inverted.
The armband is just a rectangle, can be done in few seconds.

@Dmitri hi,

The application is closing itself when I tried to convert FIFA 17 - FIFA 23 kits to any output game. I tried to convert them with both opening files and copy-pasting files, but the situation is the same.

Am I doing something wrong?

Hello Dmitri, any chance to make it cross work between all stuff? For example new PES to new FIFA? Format I think didnt change for FIFA 23, so we would be able to have kits textures to new games without big effort(you would need create additional textures) from older games to up-to-date ones. Great work nonetheless!

@Dmitri this may be a shot in the dark but is there any chance you could check Jenkey's File Loader for FIFA 14 and either improve it by adding support for other file types, or even better, try adopting it for FIFA 16, since personally I find it to be one of the most key editing tools ever, which makes it possible to avoid regeneration and load files "on-the-fly" without restarting the game.

Hello!

I would like to know how to convert Fifa 23 kits into Fifa 14/16 kits?

I see that the jersey texture seems the same or very similar, as do the shorts (except that the socks are missing at the top) and instead the texture of the socks are separate from the texture of the shorts and in a different size.

Do we need to change the image size scale of the socks and then glue them on top of the shorts? If so, what image size scale should the socks have before gluing them to the top of the shorts texture?
