pes5 demo first impressions

i find the tackling system much better, slide tackles can be very effective even from the side or behind, as long as i touched the ball the ref never blew up and played advantage alot...

i hope the full game remains the same as konami have had the tendency to increase the speed and decrease the difficulty imo after the demos...maybe its just me... :)

Rough play wont work here...That premiership style refereeing will not be seen in Konamis games for a long time. which is a shame. Everything is a foul here. A lot like spanish football or champions league!

Here is the BUG of PES5,you can see it clearly.Head over to http://www.trance.gr/~john2/ and download the PES5 BUG.avi .The ball is coming to Henry and i'm pressing the arrows to get the player there and what is happening??????He is standing still.Now here is your "perfect" new Pro Evolution Soccer.I still think that Pro Evolution Soccer 3 is better and i gave you plenty of reasons and videos.

There are so many flaws in the game, the sound is just pathetic, and the lack of licenses and world teams cannot by any means deserve a 10/10... I'd probably give it an 8/10 or so, because Konami insists in not improving the sound, adding more world leagues (even if without licenses) and so on...

PC gamer is probably getting paid by Konami... or maybe they are just little fanboys :kader: :kader: :kader: :kader: :nape: :nape: :nape:

I think they couldn't have done better work than this.

I don't understand why everybody is complaining about the fouls... You shoud learn WHEN you have to go for the ball, instead of trying to take it away inmediatly, making and unnecesary foul...

The tackling system is great and the advantage law is incredible. And also the players seem to stand better when they are fouled and they always try to continue playing instad of falling to the floor.

The slowdown of the game makes it highly more realistic, and thus, a better game.

The ball's physics is excellent and also the way players fight for the ball with their bodies...

The only turnout will be the licenses, but I hope the patchers will manage that for us.

Too bad you cant see yet manual replays of faults or goal ocassions, cause when you choose replay, you can only see the player that is going to kick the ball in game again.

maybe except 1 thing: i don't like the new running animation, especially on players like Owen, they seem they are going to fall down :D

I tried to run your video but my Windows Media-player doesn't recognize the codec you use. What do you use?
I can play other .AVI-files, but not yours :S

You must download FRAPS at http://www.fraps.com in order to install the codec.

By the way... could someone tell which are the possible moves with the right analog stick? Thank you!!!

But NO! Yet again I cant wait for PES5 to be released so I can put my squad of Master League n00bs through their paces....I'm doomed to play PES every single day for another year :|

I love this version too, but I would have loved if they did not remove the good points of WE9. That speed was perfect and also the way the defence was organized was almost like in real football.
Having said that, I think this is the best PES-game sofar and hopefully the lag will not destroy the game yet again for on-line.....
I have good hope, as I have the PES 5 beta-manual and on-line offers a lot more than that at LIVE last year (Xbox).

Game's good but I'm surprised more people aren't complaining about the long shot bug. It's driving me nuts, I can score at least two 35 yarders a game!

That and the keeper animations are the only drawbacks for me. Rest of the game is top notch.

And by the way...in the game it is possible to score great goals from long range. Yesterday I even recorded with Fraps a goal with Zidane...what a total screamer.

con somebody help me please :jambo: the demo is greate and everything but but i want to play more minutes i download the settings, it says run game-info-exit then when i press run game, i got a smol window says failt to run! make sure this is in the game dir, i don't understand what that mean, does anyone had the same prob and know what to do many thanks :rolleyes:
