Hi,

Let me preface my message by saying thank you to Phoenix and the rest of the team for the outstanding work that has been done with these updates! The intro alone gives my friends and I goosebumps.

Now to the question. As Craig originally pointed out in the capture below the problem with the "Mini-Me's" still exists. Although in the last update 1.9 the players mentioned with this problem (Telfer, Brandao, etc.) have been fixed in the edit mode and work fine in exhibition mode, when it comes to Master League mode the problem still remains; their attributes are all reset to zero turned into GK's and turned into "Mini-Me's". Phoenix, even before 2.0 comes out, can u tell me how I can go about fixing this (and possibly a list of the players that are affected by the Mini-Me disease...)??

i have 2 possible solutions for you. one is to try the game with just wolf's patch, and make sure it can work first before adding the other updates.

the other is to go to dkz studio and rebuild the 0_text.afs. simply save it as 0_newtext.afs then, rename it to 0_text.afs, and copy over your old one. try it again if it doesn't work. I used to have this error, but after some rebuilds, they disappeared.

But even stars get tired don't they? why do you even bother what the cpu wants to do? they're your opponents :)

and yes, paolo is right, there is no way to stop them making subs. it's just like alex ferguson is powerless when mourinho decides to sub his players. ;)

what intro? the intro video is from Wolf's patch, and is done by reefur, not by me.

or you mean the one at the start of the thread? haha don't worry, that'll get longer.

for the new option file to take effect in master league, you need to import para_we8.bin, then restart the master league. you have to do this everytime you get a new option file update.

But for myself, I just stick with the present team anyway and just continue on, since I've brought in so many new players that aren't in the team in real life anyway. :)

anyone could help with the china team?? (when not use with the option file) it has many unregistered slots-_-~~~
not have 11 players in the team at all-_-~~

as online mode would not have option file's effect, so, the
so online mode never can choose china team...-_-~~

i just started patching my game with this **** and it is a brilliant patch. since i switched from fifa 2005 to we i have been amazed.

so, for the 2.0 patch, is there any chance to release a proper edited we8.exe too, for showing all correct team names, transfer info, etc..??

today i found that using DKZ 's database editor could do similar work ,
but when i am using that tool to work on the we8.exe, para_we8.bin, pd_data_license.bin , some team seems have errors, and i not know what are those .

maybe u people could try try, thks...


especially the china team -_-~~~ how can the team have not enough 11 players..,
online mode impossible to play it at all... :chew:

oh, i just have some good result by using dkz database editor!!
here is what i did:


the dkz database editor require 3 files for edit,
we8.exe, para_we8.bin, pd_data_license.bin,

so, firstly, i use dkzstudio to extract the para_we8.bin and pd_data_license.bin from the pheonix patched 0_text.afs,

then i open dkz database editor, and first do a search on errors, and then it will say found a error on XXX team......

then i try to use EditPES4OptionFileENl.exe to generate another para_we8.bin from the latest 1.9 pheonix option file, hope to solve the problem.

but same error found on same team....


later, i remember using the save2para1.05 to create para_we8.bin from the option file,
and it can also at the same time edit the we8.exe for showing the formation update,staidum names etc on the we8.exe, (except the fake team names still not yet updated by this tool.)

so , after so, i use that generated para_we8.bin (by using save2para1.05 with pheonix 1.9 patch's option file) , plus the pd_data_license.bin(i wonder if this file is updated by phoenix patch showing correct update as on option file??) , and the we8.exe,


then dkz database find no errors~~
and i can easily edit team names with this tool too~~~

people may also see see further use of it..


(but then i wonder if the para8 generated from EditPES4OptionFileENl.exe would be having errors???so strange..........)

i still need to see if i can successfully use it to change all team info correctly, and also if all teams are corresponding.


so, it can help for online mode~~no more fake names and fake formation and stadium names, etc.... hopefully..



btw, still not know how to solve the CHINA TEAM problem......

phoenix, maybe u group could try try use dkz database editor for further editing too?? it seems have use on transfer, formation editing......
and i wonder why the china team is only having several guys..
also,....the pd_data_license.bin is updated in the patch too??i want to ask ask^u^...

the ultimate goal i want is, online mode should have sync data/formation/names/transfer etc....as in the option file........

yeah in online mode teams like China and a few others have all unregistred players, I am not sure what that means or why that is the case but teams like france and brazill are perfectly fine and have new players and so forth. With 1.9 I even noticed Saha has been replaced and that shows even in online mode

I think I found the reason for 'china' and other 'unregistered player'.

online mode (in we8.exe) has only 4922 player slots. But EditPES4OptionFile uses 4999. The China team are almost recreated using 'unused player' slots beyond 4922, such as #4996 Li Leilei.

The only way to solve the problem (as I know) is to move those players in 4923-4999 (totally 77) to proper slots, like overwriting free agents. A huge work to be done. Maybe you can help, mancyrix, :)
