Ok I'm playing a 4-5-1 as Manchester United in the first season (Rooney and Ronaldo out wide with Saha in the middle) and I'm looking for a new striker. I have quite a bit of money because for some reason when I requested more transfer funds I got a whopping $300+ million, all I really needed was $10. (H)

Anyway, Saha is doing ok but I would love to have a player like Didier Drogba, but I'm having a bit of trouble acquiring him. Advice? Thoughts on Samuel Eto'o?

Be realistic and go for Fernando Torres or David Villa. Man Utd look set to sign one of the two in the summer.

Yeah but since I'm doing the 4-5-1 I'd like a big target man finisher, with good control/ball skills being a good bonus too. I can only think of 1 player - Drogba, maybe Eto'o.

Torres is great playing alone, seriously.

you have lots of them..with that amount of money, just do a PL search in you 'Search' menu and choose :D

Alright, I'll give him a go.

Also, (as I have so much money), any recommendations for defence/goalie?

Yeah Torres. Or Klose if you want a target man. Klose is a f*ckin monster in this game, wins every f*ckin header.

Klose is a damn good lone striker, if you play him well, indeed.

How's Klaas Jan Huntelaar in FM? I've never bought him but he has good stats.

Got Torres, 24 goals in 22 games. Second highest striker behind Rooney with 28 from 52!

Fantastic return, I think he'll win us the quadruple.

Back in the champ man 03-04 fm 05 and 06 i would make it my top priority to sign adriano from inter/parma(cm 03-04) and only a few days ago when i begun a new game did i remember about him take a look at his stats he would be ideal for u stron and reasonably quick good finishing can score long range efforts and has good headin think about him

In defense, you can take Raul Albiol from Valencia, he's amazing. He can play DC or DM. You can also buy Micah Richards from Manchester City. Andrea Barzagli (Palermo), Gabriel Milito (Zaragoza), Christoph Metzelder (Dortmund) are also good. On the wings, Altintop (Schalke 04), Nelson (Benfica), Clichy (Arsenal)..

If you want a goalkeeper, take Akinfeev (CSKA Moscow), Ustari (Independiente) but perhaps you would have problems with work permits. Martin Stekelenburg (Ajax) and Sébastien Frey (Fiorentina) are very good too.
