Playing FIFA07 Until PES come out and ...

God sake hurry up PES , FIFA is not that good , but there are things in FIFA id kill for in PES.


The deflections are just about life like as you can get, well compared to the ones in PES they are life like!

Throw ins, none of that invisable wall where you can't get within 10yrds of the throw ..

Cameras that you can Zoom and change the height of ...

Manager Mode

...the only feature of FIFA I'd like PES had... and CEP
(Career Expansion Pack: that cool community made megapack with tons of new players and teams, leagues and domestic cups plus Euro cups and internationals cups...)

This feature would be a "killer application" for PES...
I'd be satisfied even with fake names..(easy to edit then) but i think it will never happen in PES.

One thing I would like on PES6 or even PES7 is the fact that you can run up and down the line when taking throw ins rather than just stand in one place (Obviously you cant take more than 3 or 4 steps), Perhaps press :r2: and left and right or even up and down if you know what I mean

i hope that this years Konami online will be way better

ppl will be able to play each other regardless of console they are using (xbox, psx, pc) so i believe it will be great

Where did you see that? other than Seabass saying it long time ago... that's not gonna happen for a long time I'm afraid.

Seems impossible to me, the code of the game is different for each system...

I saw Best GOALS in GIF thread in Fifa07 section and the game seems promising.. I think I'll have a look at FIFA after 4 years....

your right there. I stopped playing fifa in 2003 because i got frustrated. But i will not rule out going back should the game play improve in the pes direction. Becuase that is all that is missing. They need to hire the best in the industry and get the ball physics right. Spend long hours working on the movement of the ball and the way it interacts with players.

Seriously, wtf is that crap?

Anyway, Elkjaer, grow some brains dude. Have you played the 360 demo at all? And have you seen any real improvements in pro over the last few years? What I'm saying is ea almost caught up with them and with this momentum, they'll finish on top VERY soon if konami keeps this attitude.

well...i just played fifa 07 at my frens home n i gotta say its improved from 06 !!...i kinda started enjoyin it for a while...played 6 games on semi-pro n then tried the manager mode....sweet

BUT, as i played some more games in my manager mode, i started to feel " It just doesnt feel u r independent " and THATs the problem with fifa....that feelin of freedom isnt there, the players still feel 'mechanical' albeit somewat less but i started to get tired of it.

Switched to professional and then i got really bored :(...played 10 games n quit n played my master league in pes 5....and i didnt go back

Bottom line....fifa 07 has improved but not enough to get me off pes 5 :)

Look a the fifa forums arround the world. the game has many bugs and there are also lags online. Well done EA, like every year. There will be a patch this week but there is every year a patch which don't solve all the problems.
