Hey guys, question... how do I download music on my PS3? Can I do it directly or do I have to do it via my computer and if so how do I transfer the files? Thanks.

Are you using Vista? If so, set up Media Sharing in WMP, then you'll be able to transfer or stream any video/music files right over your network directly from your computer.

It only seems to have affected a relatively small number of PS3s but if you're worried about stuff on your hard disk and aren't that bothered about ingame XMB/trophies then I'd go back to 2.36

Yeah, haven't had much time recently because of my final year exams and electives...it'll be even worse when I start working in August

So far people who are affected by the update seems to be those who had custom themes installed for their XMB. Update 2.4 adds new icons which aren't supported yet by the custom themes and that's why it won't load...but reformatting the HD seems to solve the problem...

Btw i read if you have 2.4 installed and it works fine then don't worry because it won't come back to bite you

btw, so what games do you guys play? I'm pretty hooked on CoD4 and Battlefield Bad Company atm

Nope, I'm using XP still.

So I guess you can't directly download stuff from your PS3 then? So far I've just been transferring files from my computer to the PS3 using an USB drive.

FIFA09 is awesome. They released a patch/update couple of weeks ago that has smoothed a couple of bugs that were really annoying and now the game is brilliant. I really recommend it.

Yes I'm glad they fixed the "crab walk". Now I can actually defend the c*nts who lob and chase all the time -- my defender won't crab walk and watch the ball while Rooney runs by anymore.

It's ridiculous though the amount of assholes/cheaters/pathetic players online. 9 out of 10 games the other player chooses Barca and Man Utd, and out of those 9 games, 4 of them put Ronaldo as striker and lob and chase is all they do, it's disgusting to watch.

PS: Rony stop hiding. I want some more wins.

True... "fanboys" are annoying, but then again I find it's the people who choose their own team who are more dangerous.

Funnily enough Barca and ManU are teams I have a great record against, never lose almost. Mind you Newcastle are pretty good in the game too. Every time I've played Tottenham it's been very tight and I've had a couple of beatings at the hands of Villa.

My most difficult games have come against Aston Villa as well. I have the EPL update for Adidas Live Season though, and I always use City, and seeing as how we're ****ting it up right now, all my players are in the red and rated in the 70s (except SWP) while all of Villa's are in the green due to their great form, so that might be it.

PS: I also have COD4, COD5 and MGS4, but I only really play COD5 and Fifa09 online.

You have problems against Villa because people abuse Agbonlahor's ridiculous speed. Because of that factor, there's actually more people using Villa than Arsenal, Liverpool, Milan, etc.

I just beat this punk called BHfanatic, sounds familiarly like some guy from these boards. All he did was lob and chase, he got a goal off a lob and chase early on and he kept going to the corner flag to waste time with the 1-0 lead, but I equalized then beat his punk ass on PKs. Damn it feels sweet to punk these punks.

Eto'o is probably the worst case here... he can honestly start chasing a through ball 5 meters behind and get to it with enough space to go clear on goal and get a good shot away... I love waiting for guys to choose their 5 star teams then I choose a rival and win though (ala beating France with Cameroon, Bayern with Stuttgart, Milan with Udinese )
