I installed FIFA 11 on my PC but when ever i click to play it, a small window open with a red cross on one side and E0001 is written on it and there is no other option but to click OK.

i can;t play the game and its frustrating, i bought a new PC for this game only with all the specs, please if any GURU here can help me i shall be obliged.

i installed both original and pirate version and never encounter those thing (red cross). give us the screen shot... maybe one of us could assist you. i guess you had followed the procedure of how to install the pirate version. didn't you?

Most of the people that has this kind of error is because the graphic card can't support Shader 3.0, check if yours can support it.

this happens because of 2 reasons:
1) ur graphic card does not support shader model 3. check as this is absolutely vital to run fifa 11.
2) u don't have updated drivers. though this is a reason uncommon for the error to pop up but it does happen.

how can i check whether my card supports Shader 3.0 or not??

i am dieing to play the game dudes.......i invested all my savings for the new PC and still unable to play the game.....

sorry to intrude but can anyone post a link on FIFA 11 'Support' folder download
..i got the game and tried installing it but it failed cos most files are missing from the support folder.
..can anyone upload just the 'EA Support' folder and send me the link??..pretty please...i need it ASAP!! thanx

I try to play in FIFA 11 pir. Gameranger is a program through which I try to play.
But when I try to connect on server write - Connection time out.

Just shader model 3.0 is not enough.Your graphics card is not support the game.
You should buy a new graphics card. There is no another way of this.
