There are much more stronger teams than Wis?a in this season, through that we have much stronger league.

It makes me happy seeing our league getting better and stronger

That's happening all across Eastern Europe, just look at the progress Liga 1 in Romania has made over the past 3 seasons. It's still very surprising to see Wisla and Legia so far down the table. What European spots do you get at the end of this season?

you made a mistake, mate.
only second place and cup winner gets our clubs to the UEFA CUP (because of poor results of polish clubs in europe).
last season third place of Zaglebie Lubin got this club to Uefa Cup, but this season Poland have only two places for Uefa cup.

I've been on one site and there was a Ekstraklasa table with first 3 marked places. So, I thought it goes this way.

Actually according to this http://www.xs4all.nl/~kassiesa/bert/uefa/access2007.html the champion will get to play in the 2nd qualifying round for CL, the cup winner and runner-up in the league will play in the 1st qualifying round for UC and 3rd place in the leauge will play in the Intertoto Cup.

i have another bad news.
Three clubs of the top in Orange Ekstraklasa (Belchatow, Zaglebie Lubin & Korona Kielce) haven't got any points for seeding in European cups, so they will be unseeded for sure, even in UEFA Cup.
There will be another bad season for Polish football next year...

Degradation for Arka Gdynia​

Degradacja, 200 tys. zł i pięć punktów ujemnych na rozpoczęcie nowego sezonu - to kara dla Arki Gdynia za udział w korupcji.

"Gazecie" już udało się ustalić, jaka będzie kara dla Arki. Oficjalne ogłoszenie decyzji obradującego właśnie Wydziału Dyscypliny PZPN zaplanowano ok. godz. 19.

Degradation to 2nd division, 200,000 PLN (circa 52,000 EUR) penatly and minus 5 points in the begining of next season - this is penalty for Arka Gdynia after corruption affair.

Shame, it's only fault the club staff. Arka was doing quite well lately.

Górnik Leczna - degredation to 3rd division​

Za udział w korupcji Górnik Łęczna będzie zdegradowany do III ligi - postanowił Wydział Dyscypliny PZPN.

Klub z Łęcznej zostanie karnie zdegradowany do III ligi oraz będzie musiał zapłacić 270 tys. złotych. Dodatkowo klub został ukarany dziesięcioma punktami ujemnymi.

Degradation to 3rd division, 270,000 PLN (circa 60,000 EUR) penatly and minus 10 points in the begining of next season - this is penalty for Górnik Leczna after corruption affair.

Also PZPN decided to degredation for teams from 2nd division to 3rd division - KSZO Ostrowiec & Górnik Polkowice.

They're pretty severe when it comes to punish some crap teams no-one cares about but we all know there are some dirty hands in most of the teams. Why was Arka treated better than Leczna? They didn't even admit to anything.

It's funny when everybody knows that you're cheating, but you're saying it's not true and when it gets up you're f*cked!
