Milan 80-90 was.

I think they might be #3, but there's some distance between them and the other two. They didn't win the Scudetto either of those seasons.

Milan from 1980-1990? Late eighties and early nineties for sure with Rijkaard-Gullit-Van Basten, but Juve were the best team in Italy in the early and middle 80's with Michel Platini and the core of the Italian team that won World Cup 1982.

this thread is ridiculous hahahahha

Basically the top south american team was way superior to the top European team from the mid 60s until the early 80s. (except for a few occasions).

For example, Uruguay's 1966 Peñarol was voted by FIFA and managers in 2004 (100 year anniersary) as one of the top 4 teams in history. Yet no mention of it here :p hahaha.

That is absolute bull****. The only reason the South American clubs hold an advantage in the Intercontinental Cup (it's 22-21 btw) it is because clubs like Independiente would go out to injure the European players, and the refs for the games in South America allowed it. Not to mention that there's something fishy about the participants, for example Ajax only competed in 1972 despite winning the European Cup from 71-73; the South American team beat the Euro Pretenders the other two years. Bayern also only played once, in 1976; it wasn't even contested in 1975 for some reason. I see Malmo and Gladbach as participants in the 70s as well; I'm sure neither won the European Cup. Not to mention that it was taken MUCH more seriously by the South American clubs.
