Preventing Negative development of skills

Hi

I'm playing Fifa Manager 13 and everything was great, my players developed their skills very quick but suddenly when I reach the year 2019 some of my players began to loose their skills very fast.

Example one of my player great talent 25 years all of a sudden he lost 34 skill-points in just a half season. Normally he used to develop a lot.

I hope someone can help me :)
