Uhmm guys I have a problem.... after I'm done modifiying using CM10 when I try to save my work a window pops out that an unhandled error has occured Access to the path C:/Program Files/EA Sports/FIFA 10/data/cmn/fifa.db.bak is denied. Does anyone have any idea how to fix this? the same thing happens when I use Manager Master 10

You're problem is probably due to windows permissions. are you in windows 7? Check to make sure your fifa.db.bak isn't corrupt. try backing up that file, and copying your fifa.db file and renaming it fifa.db.bak and see if that works.

Another thing to try is opening up both fifa.db and fifa.db.bak in DBM10 and see if it opens and saves when you edit something that way. then you can determine if the problem is related to fifa.db.bak or if it's a windows permission problem or some other type of error.

you can try regenerating in filemaster. when did this start happening? did you install a patch or something?

It happened on a clean installation...I have windows vista and I've closed the UAC and it still didn't work. Where could I get this file? I've also tried to use the complete european patch and after I've modified it I wasn'a able to save my work

so after a clean install, before installing the european patch, you weren't able to save your work in CM10? then you installed the complete european patch and still weren't able to save your CM10 work?

I run fifa 10 on vista and haven't had this problem. are you able to startup fifa 10 or is it just when editing CM10 / MM10? Did you try going to options in CM10 and select a specific unused zdata? in my experience, i've gotten errors in CM10 when a zdata is full and you try to add a patch or something.

So many views without any answer.... Can really nobody help me?
I provided you with the answer on another thread (which is always the problem with spamming multiple threads with the same issue, you forget where you asked) - Creation Master 10 - it is almost certainly a permissions issue.

Yup you were right but now I have another question. I've downloaded a complete european patch from darkvajo. So I've copied all the files from the patch to the FIFA 10 directory. And then I open CM 10 I try to modify the team names the league names and other things....And then this same error appears. Do you maybe know why Steve?

when i was using cm10 to do a roster update, when i click on teams tab,
wii accessories i have the choice to mess w/ the teams roster or on the right side i can set
it to all players, players by country, free agents, etc

but when you click on a name in the right section & start to type a name you get
an error saying it cant find that player in the gui archive for every player.

only way for it to work its to disable that error message.
I will soon release a CM 10.2 version with the following changes:
Bug Fixed: added consistency check in tournament construction between database fields.
Bug Fixed: XBOX 360 Cooling Fan stadium collision files and effect files are not saved.
Bug Fixed: armband is replaced by the default when a new kit is imported.
Bug Fixed: .o files are saved in zdata also if options say to save them in root folder.
New Feature: CM10 now shows objects using the same rule of FIFA 10: zdata first and root folder second.
See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.
