Problem with CC directory/folder

I posted in the CC bug thread, but then I realized that it's probably not a bug, but a problem. The other post was wordy, so this one will be to the point.

For whatever reason Creation Centre is confused and wants to find the fifa.db file in the wrong folder--one that does not really exist.

When I open CC the entire left column is blank and when I click on save it says:
Could not find a part of the path "C:\Program Files\EA SPORTS\FIFA 2005data\cmn\fifa.db".

There is a backslash missing. When I created this folder artificially (by copying the entire "data" folder to C:\Program Files\EA SPORTS\FIFA 2005data, CC recognizes it and can load properly.
However when I try to save changes, there are problems in the game--crashing. When I try to save changes to graphics files, like kits, minikits, assets, they don't actually save. When I reopen CC those changes are gone and only changes to the squads (fifa.db) actually stay. So CC is only partially working right now.

It seems like there should be an easy solution to simply instruct CC to look in the correct folder and the problem should be solved, right? But I don't know how to do that.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Try dowloading it again and install it back, if your FIFA folder hasn't moved the problem is with your CC because I have never saw that...

I am having the same problem. I tried editing the registry, but I can't find any place where the default directory for CC or FIFA 2005 is listed.

Hercules, do you know which registry entry to look for?

Thanks,

Thanks J. Adamec and Hercules,
I edited the registry and it fixed the problem. CC and FIFA are both working great now. Thanks.
Just a little more detail for firefan89. I had to search google and figure this part out myself... To edit the registry go to Start Menu, Run, regedit.
I just added a backslash that was missing after the directory C:\Program Files\EA SPORTS\FIFA 2005. (Ie. there should be a "\" after the 5)
