I posted in the CC bug thread, but then I realized that it's probably not a bug, but a problem. The other post was wordy, so this one will be to the point.
For whatever reason Creation Centre is confused and wants to find the fifa.db file in the wrong folder--one that does not really exist.
When I open CC the entire left column is blank and when I click on save it says:
Could not find a part of the path "CProgram Files\EA SPORTS\FIFA 2005data\cmn\fifa.db".
There is a backslash missing. When I created this folder artificially (by copying the entire "data" folder to CProgram Files\EA SPORTS\FIFA 2005data, CC recognizes it and can load properly.
However when I try to save changes, there are problems in the game--crashing. When I try to save changes to graphics files, like kits, minikits, assets, they don't actually save. When I reopen CC those changes are gone and only changes to the squads (fifa.db) actually stay. So CC is only partially working right now.
It seems like there should be an easy solution to simply instruct CC to look in the correct folder and the problem should be solved, right? But I don't know how to do that.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
