PS3 or XBOX 360... PC

I have pes 2008 on pc and really like this game a lot.
I just bought myself a brand new HDTV 1080p 50' and would like to know wich console I should buy to get the best version of PES 2008.

I would prefer the xbox 360 but I read somewhere that we could not add any patches, kits etc... I added some on my pc game and the game with this is just fantastic!

Mate, do what I did today and get a PS3.

Trust me, but the PS3 is better and MUCH MUCH more reliable than a 360. Plus you can also patch PES2008 on PS3 too!

Get the PS3 and play all 3 games for it. 360 ftw! Exclusives galore, superior online social service, etc, etc.....Keep believing sony promises....

PS3/xbo360 versions of PES2008 are wrong porting from PC...

the best gameplay (offline) is only on a good PC, the consoles versions are not good enough...

the PS3 version, is the most bad version of three...

Why not plug a tv-out cable from your videocard to your TV? In combination with a wireless gamepad/keyboard you can enjoy PES 2008 on your sofa

Yes I agree, PES2008 is by FAR the best on PC, but in the future expect games in the PES series to be better and better on a PS3...

Also, a PS3 is MUCH more reliable than a 360 and it will last longer...and also if you want a 360 be prepared to pay another $200-$300 extra dollars to upgrade it...

Trust me, a PS3 is a much better choice, and I know since I have been researching pros and cons for each console for a few weeks now...

Also you can patch games on a PS3...and Internet is FREE....

PC with a good/powerful video card will roast ps3 and 360.

I have a built PC. it has ATI 1950GT 512mb 256 bits and many other **** that i assembled to it.

However if u will choose a console, i will prefer ps3 to 360. there are far too many advantages of ps3 compared to 360. if u want to upgrade 360 to near ps3 capability, then u must spend another $300. and thats a true fools way of wasting money. Well i am a fool, but i upgraded my 360 on monthly bases. I would have bought ps3, but then it was priced at $600. now it is $400.

Well i do play pes games on 360 with a ps2/keyboard and mouse adapter. So i actually play pes on 360 with ps2 controller. No need for me to buy ps3 (unless i decide to play blue ray movies), and by the way most people play pes on 360 compared to ps3 now.

I some times believe that bill gate must have pribed off konami to produce a ****ty version of pes for the ps3 version, and also putting the 360 pad icon for pc version, calling the move a next gen controller.

I agree the PC version is by far the best though I haven't tested the 360 Version. But the PS3 version just sucked... as far as I know some bugs and slowdowns were addressed at PS3 with the patch but without the patch (that's how I played it) I had to close down the PS3 20 minutes before the game would end...

the ps3 version had many slowdowns at first release, but with the latest patch its much smoother now. only replays they have to work on little bit.

turf looks better on ps3 version, but on other side the 360 version has much better crowd.

but if you ask me, stick with the pc version. its better in almost all aspects IF you have a good PC.
