.PSD Kit Templates?

I know people make them for EA Sports NHL 06, but I haven't been able to see any for FIFA 06. Anyone know where I can find any?

It's down to the discretion of the kit maker really, more people are cautious here about giving out there .PSD's because of a risk of plagarism. You'll be lucky if anyone posts theres or gives them to you, I personally only give mine to people who I think I can trust.

usually they dont share a finished kit.psd file for NHL eigher, just the base with texture+basic seems, that is used on all shirts, also the collar is usually included in the nhl.psd files they share. but the rest, the design, you have to do yourself, you just get the basics in the psd files as i said. its a bit diffrent in the fifa forums,we dont share finished designs here, but we do share textures etc. and as paul said you will be very lucky if you find someone send them to ya...

I just need the base.

I'm a NHL 06 skin designer, and want to work on some FIFA 06 kits.
Here are some of my NHL examples..

Check out this thread for a few base textures: http://www.soccergaming.tv/showthread.php?t=129791&page=5

But for things like seems, meshes and overall designs, you'll just have to create them yourself, and that means by not using other peoples kits as a base, just thought I would warn you before you think about trying that, because it is a very frowned upon thing to do in this community especially in these forums.

I will never claim some one esles work as my own.
I always credit people who help me.

I don't like the view of negativity here. :kader:

@curswine: Sorry, but I want .psd format base templates. Those don't help me.

@Sundsvall2005: Don't think so, been a while since I was in the EA NHL skinning scene.

It was just an early warning, nothing was meant by it, I just didn't want to see you make that mistake without knowing.

Would it be helpful if I put one of those templates in .PSD format with the layers set right?

he has been many years there mate, but you're probably not a member of slapshot then...i think he whant complete designs, not just the textures with screen layers...

Sure, I guess that will work. Thanks

@Sundsvall2005: Possibly.

:nape:
With .PSD type Kits, people would make alot more kits.
It's easier, oh well.

I suggest that someone makes something like that for the FIFA modding community.

Really all you need to do is take one of those textures in the thread i posted, set that layers blending mode to multiply and put everything below that layer. You should know how to do that with your experience making hockey uniforms, surely.

I see in that .PSD it contains screen layers aswell so you should be capable of making them and know what they are to make the texture show through dark colours. With football kits there is such a wide variety of designs that it would be quite pointless to make a kit with seems etc. because it would only be good for a certain amount of teams also you would get a lot of rubbish same look kits being made over and over again by people who don't know how to use the .PSD in the correct way.

Just my opinion, but I am against it because it would totally take away the originality of the work.
