.PSD Kit Templates?

Really all you need to do is take one of those textures in the thread i posted, set that layers blending mode to multiply and put everything below that layer. You should know how to do that with your experience making hockey uniforms, surely.

I see in that .PSD it contains screen layers aswell so you should be capable of making them and know what they are to make the texture show through dark colours. With football kits there is such a wide variety of designs that it would be quite pointless to make a kit with seems etc. because it would only be good for a certain amount of teams also you would get a lot of rubbish same look kits being made over and over again by people who don't know how to use the .PSD in the correct way.

Just my opinion, but I am against it because it would totally take away the originality of the work.

yeah paul is right. you cant really compare the kitmaking for fifa with the NHL editing, since the seems is diffrent at almost all designs, as paul said.

So, I take it no one has a .psd kit template file then.

Ok then, how about some basic kit textures, or a tutorial that tells you what everything is.

You should know how to do that with your experience making hockey uniforms, surely.
Hehe, without the .psd files I doubt I'd ever be able to make them.

Honestly it is simple to make a basic kit. Take one of the textures set the blend mode to multiply create a new layer beneath the texture layer and fill that with the colour you need, then just create more layers for each part of the kit like socks etc and add details from there.

Oh, I can do that easily. The only parts I have trouble on are making brand name kit templates like Adidas, Nike, etc.
