Great news for PSV: We recieved 31m € CL prize money last season! We are one of the top earners in the CL last season. This is all thanks to Ajax not qualifying.

ZURICH - PSV heeft het afgelopen seizoen in de Champions League ruim 30 miljoen euro aan prijzengeld verdiend. De UEFA heeft vrijdag bekend gemaakt welke bedragen er zijn uitbetaald. De Eindhovenaren bereikten de kwartfinale.

Grootverdiener was AC Milan, dat aan zijn zege in de Champions League bijna 40 miljoen euro overhield. Verliezend finalist Liverpool werd derde (32 miljoen), achter Chelsea (34).

De verschillen met de UEFA-beker zijn groot. Voor de winnaar van dat toernooi, Sevilla, was er iets meer Shifty zes miljoen euro. AZ, kwartfinalist, ontving van de UEFA 1,3 miljoen euro.

According to Televisa Deportes, PSV have signed another Mexican. PSV have signed Andres Guardado, 21 , from Atlas who will attempt to replace Phillip Cocu as LM or LWM. none of contract details have been informed....

Obviously he wasn't good enough. Let him play at a lower level, he doesnt have what it takes to play at top level.

About Guardado: I hope we sign him if he's as good as in FM

FM08 certainly is gonna be fun with PSV if he comes. Zonneveld is another one of those famous FM players.

uh oh, Guardado. Now that is some serious Mexican threat. Bad news for Ajax.

A lot of transfer news today regarding PSV. The day started out bad. Guardado signed for Deportivo La Coruna. I don't think anybody at PSV is to blame though. Those Spanish teams are a lot wealthier and are able to spend more money. Atlas of course chose to sell Guardado to the team offering the highest transfer money. I do think it would've been better for Guardado to move to PSV. We are a better team than Depor and in the Dutch league he can adjust to European football.

We also managed to loan Slobodan Rajkovic from Chelsea. Don't know the guy, but I assume we loaned him for some extra squad depth. He won't be able to forget Alex I guess.

We also extended Genero Zeefuik's contract. A good thing of course. He is only 17 and a big talent for our team. Liverpool was also interested in him, but he now has a contract till 2011. Teams will have to pay more money now.

PSV also (finally) signed Kenneth Perez from Ajax, probably because the Guardado transfer didn't go through. I'm glad we bought him. He can bring some experience to our midfield, which is relativly young. Maybe he can take our youngsters (Aissati, Afellay) by the hand as well.

Yay. Our first cup of the season. We won the Herman Teeuwen Testimonial on penalties.

Completely in PSV style we get a bad result in the pre season. Can't remember the last time we actually had a good preseason. Prepare for defeats vs. Duisburg, AC Milan and Lokomotiv/Real Madrid and we are ready for the league!

He isn't Mexican, but we signed him anyway: Cassio Ramos.

Cassio Ramos is a 20 yr. old goalie from Gremio. Masterscout Piet de Visser is very enthousiastic about him. Yes, Piet de Visser, the man who brought us Leandro, Tardelli and many more! He will fight with Roorda for the 2nd GK spot behind Gomes. Hopefully he´ll be a good replacement when Gomes leaves next year (or later...).
