Quake 4

Anybody else playing Quake 4. The Single player experience is alot of fun. Plus the graphics are really good. Much better than Doom 3, but I think I still like Half Life 2 the best. Unfortunately I can only play it on high quality and not ultra quality cause I still have a 2ghz pentium. Even so, high quality is a bit twitchy at times. I need a new motherboard...

You can't mention HL in the same sentence as Quake and Doom. They're two totally different first person shooters.

By the way, judging from the videos I've seen and the reviews I've read, this game is much better than Doom 3. You're not as confined when playing Quake, and that's what I love the most. Doom 3 was so ******* linear, repetitive, and predictable.

I like that they let you pilot a hover tank and a mech. The AI isn't the best for some of the enemies, but midway through the game you'll encounter some enemies that attack in groups and use relatively good tactics. Your squads AI is the opposite and is actually very good.

The graphics look better than Doom3 and the game actually runs better than Doom3 for me. The weapons are also cooler. Overall, it's alot a fun to play despite some crappy enemy AI.

Basicaly it looks just like doom3 without that plastic effect on faces. Physics aint nothing special, but it aint crap. ONly played for about an hour, so this aint my final verdict
