That's fine, if you wish to discuss the forums further, please take it to the appropriate place (the topic in question/PMs). I'm gonna consider this matter closed as it is being looked at by one of supermods. Any other posts on the matter in this threads will be moved or deleted.

If you have an opinion on who the best goalkeeper of all time is, though, I'm all ears.

Base on my memory

(1) Buffon
(2) Kahn
(3) Casillas
(4) van Der Sar

Perhaps Arnau will mention Yashin, Zoff, Sep Maier ;)

Buffon is probably the best GK i have ever seen and Casillas the most talented and biggest waste of talent. Kahn's not ever top10.

Shifty, did you support USA over Germany in that match?

Did Germany only concede 3 goals in the tourney? If so Kahn did very good judging from the highlights!

No, I supported the USA and to be honest the US was the better team. We had a goal cleared off the line by a German defender's hand, but the ref didn't see it.

Schmeichel was better than all of them but I guess you were too young or not even born when he played lol

EDIT: A bit hard to chose between Buffon, Kahn, Schmeichel and Van Der Sar TBH but I still think Schmeichel was the best. Of course, I am a bit biased though but VDS played for manU too.

Didn't have chance to watch his era, so can't judge him :(

Schmeichel was really good, but then he came to Sporting and my idea of him got blown away. It was better when he was in some distant country making great saves.

Why would the English media overrate him? He's not even English. It is very unusual for the English media to overrate foreigners.

Not really, so long as they've been in England enough. I don't agree that Schmeichel is overrated, but I can see his point.
