Question of the Week: Your Favorite Player (NOT based on talent/performance)

This one might not make sense, but hear me out. For example, my favorites would include Terry, Lamps, Drogba because of their great performances for my club and iconic symbol. Bergkamp and Overmars would be examples based on their amazing talent.

But I don't mean any of them. I mean someone like David Luiz. Yes, he's talented, and he performs, but I'm not picking him because of that, but because he geniunely seems like a great guy. He's a renowned jokester and prankster (check out him Punking Di Maria on youtube) and is a very happy-go-lucky, likeable person. Piazon, one of the Chelsea youths, has even remarked that in his few months at the club, Luiz has become like a brother to him. But all of that pales in comparison to this:

Check out that hair. There's no topping that.

The other one for me would be Branislav Ivanovic. Not because of some crucial goals, that fact that his arrival was very understated and he's become a key member of the squad, forever being in my memory for his 2-goal performance against Pool in the CL quarters. No, it's because the man is simply adorable.

He's quiet, he's hardworking and he always looks like he doesn't quite understand what's going on. He's a huge, huggable bear. When I went to the Bridge I very nearly got an Ivanovic shirt.

My current favorite Barça player. I don't really have an explanation, but I just like the way he carries himself and how easy he makes it seem to have possession/pass/score.

This one is pretty obvious.

Make America Great Again
I don't know, depends on what you're asking. I love guys like Balotelli and Tevez for their stupidity and insanity. I love Clint Dempsey and Michael Bradley because they are great Americans. I love Thomas Muller just because he looks funny, but was the most important player for my teams in 2010. Most guys I really like comes from some aspect of their game though.

Team Captain

For obvious reasons. And he's just the classiest mother ****er on the planet, love the way he carries himself in interviews as well as on the pitch.

Senior Squad
Since I was a kid I always liked Francesco Totti and his performance, well, I don't count spitting, steping and hitting opponent players. Badass legend!

After him is Modrić.

Probably doesn't count since he's my favorite player ever. Even ignoring how good he was there is just something iconic about him.

Word.

For me it's le Memo Ochoa. I was and still am a huge fan of Ronaldo (as you can tell by me user profile name). I can't leave out Andres Guardado, I love that kid. He's Ochoa's best friend on the NT.

Why does eveyone on the Mexican NT have awful curly hair? If you're gonna go that route, at least do it right, like David Luiz.
