Next up is the rather cheap looking Dunfermline home for the new season. Looks a little like a pub team kit and my opinion:

Yeah it does. If that was unfortunate the away kit is orange and based around the Sponsor RAC. Queens Park done this with their IRN BRU away kit which was the same colour (Organge and Blue)- sound like it could be time to grab your sick bag.

I hate it when clubs make their away kits using the colours' of their sponsors' logos. Didn't Livingston do it with their purple away kit just because they were sponsored by Intelligent Finance (whose colours are purple and white)...?

My team did that in the 95/96 season... we had a sky blue and navy kit to match the colours of the lager cans produced by the local brewery, who were our sponsors... Crap kit, yet amazingly it was popular

Seriously it is a terrible looking kit...speaking of sponsors taking over kit designs, what is the South American team that has an all blue kit with big PEPSI lettering on the back where the player names should be? I think they have the pepsi lettering on the front as well...saw a guy wearing one at UNI the other day, you can't get more commercial than pepsi

Ah...I didn't realise that was why Livi had the purple kit. It's definitely a bad idea- especially if your sponsor has crap colours. I'd prefer if they kept the colours traditional.

It is very apt! Not sure about that Pepsi kit but I have seen it. I'm surprised at you though I know how much you loved that IRN BRU away kit of Queens Park, what was the phrase you used?

Looks like I'll have to make my own latex texture

I've got another couple of SPL 2003/04 kits to come before the weekend. Plus some other kits for the new season from other countries.

Dodger has been kind enough to send me his texture and I think that anyone who has seen it will agree it's one of the best about- I really like it. I thought I'd try it out on one of my kits so I've used it on the Celtic Home 2003/05.

This is the DRC image. I promise I won't post this kit again and that this is definitely my final version. I'm a bit alarmed at the updates I have made to this kit as a Rangers Supporter.
