Guys, you are making fantastic faces! I love your works but I have a problem.
We don't need 543549 Ronaldo, Messi or Ganso faces...
We could make an archive with all good faces so it would be easier to download them(The Facemaking Download thread is nice but not all face-makers post there).
And yes, I know you can search for the faces, but wouldn't it be easier this way?
If my thread is stupid then delete it, I just wanted to describe this problem.

Yeah and it would also be helpful if we could put small pictures for every face so people can decide which one they want to choose.

And i think for the start it would be good, if we would just put the faces of the Strongest leagues and teams (La liga, Barclays PL, Ligue 1, Bundesliga, Liga Portugesa,...) and players from worse leagues which are famous (Beckham, Neymar, Ganso...)

I guess we dont really need a new thread mate......just making sure that facemakers post the links in the facemakers archive thread is sufficient.....also....we should make sure that noone posts comments or requests there......and delete any requests made.....coz we search a particular player.....when we get a successful result....we are dissapointed to find that it was only a request......also.....i know even i havent been doing it.....but i think everyone should write the names of all the players in the packs.........makes it easier to search........

Yes but still there are a lot of request and it would be like simply impossible to delete all...
But sometimes we don't know how to improve our fifa and we search for random faces for a new inspiration.. So the thread would be very usefull.

The problem is, that liking faces is always subjective, that means that some people like du_oro's ganso more than Shifty*nim's and other like it the otherway. Some people like farkams CR7 and other like Shifty*nim's more. and this list could go on......
Also do you think the facemaker don't know that there is already a great face? I think every facemaker should be allowed to do the faces they want. They maybe wanna do a better version, even knowing that there is already a good face. And the faces YOU think are good, is not always regarded "good" by others, because it is subjective
That would only cause problems I think. Just let the facemaker do the faces they want. That's my opinion.

That would only cause problems I think. Of course, I can understand, it is strange that facemakers make the same faces again and again, but that's something we just have to accept, I think everyone can be that patient. At least I do. Just let the facemaker do the faces they want. That's my opinion.

Agree in some parts with you. But i said we can post maybe 3 faces of each player(the best versions of course) and add pictures so people could choose theirs.
I hate it when i check the threads of facemakers and i see someone making Ronaldo or Messi... They have great faces and great versions of them, we don't need 100 versions of them..

I understand your point. and the 3 faces is also not a bad idea, but i think it would take a lot of time to make such a page. I think facemakers themselves wouldn't want to put extra time to do it.

Another point of view is: Honestly I don't think that your facelist-thread would stop people making another common faces.

We Facemakers are doing our work facemaking, in my point of view, I'm so tired after of making face, then upload it, then post it at my thread, and you then want I making more "Forum Bureaucracy"? I don't think so.

If you are uncomfortable with many threads, then do the job of scanning all facemakers threads and picking the "best" or whatever you want faces and post them in just one thread, just as bureaucrats do.

You are right but I still don't like it when people create Ronaldo. I see in clearly every thread his face. Some are copied, some good... You can do your work. But i think it is like a trend. When one starts making Messi i see a lot of versions of him at one time. Then they make Ronaldo and I see again 20 Ronaldos everywhere. Maybe just i have this problem. But it would be better making some talents instead of 20 versions of one player..

I make a lot of talents and I make almost only unmade faces, but you always say "its too generic". That annoys me the same way "ronaldo" and "messi" faces annoys you. I work hard to improve, but at the moment I just cant work with blender. i tried different times, but it's still too hard to understand. So in this forum only because something annoys you, is not the world's end. It annoys me too, that everyone says my work look generic, but I work harder to hear that less. so you should also accept that a lot of people want to do CR or messi.

It's all pretty much open to interpretation, guys. I do agree that some of those reworked specific faces turn out awesome and the community is glad that facemakers put their hard work into doing them, but I personally appreciate it more to see people create faces for players that don't have a specific face in game than a lot of versions of players that already had their likeness put in (badly or not) by EA. And it's a common vice among facemakers to spend a huge amount of time correcting what they think EA did wrong. But it's mainly a matter of taste, as are the faces that some like more others less.

If people say that your works are too generic, they want to help you. It's hard to do faces man but if people don't like your works you cant force them to something.

OK, you cannot force someone to like or not aeh1991 works, but saying is too generic you not help him to improve faces, are just rating his work, thing that should be a real S.h.i.t for modders coz they put a lot dedication & time to make those works.

In my way I try to help him what to correct. Is it my fault that he is doing too generic faces? i don't think so.
If i say they are too generic i want to say him that he should edit the faces more.

there is a difference between facemaker and facemaking beginner. i started facemaking not long ago and i am really bad at editing blender (now improving). for beginners tips like "try to make the texture brighter" "update nose, make little higher" "make smaller lips" are more helpful then "try to edit more" "it looks generic"
